If you are already posting manually with good success and you simply want to automate and expand, yes. If you do not have a good working manual campaign I would not invest until you do. Keep in mind you will need multiple pva's, ips, etc.

They certainly will if they know you're using it, because it contravenes their terms of use.

People do and promote all sorts of things that are specifically designed to breach third-party terms of service. That doesn't make them sensible, reasonable or advisable, though - and it's part of the reason why as internet marketers, collectively, our reputation is what it is. The people who aren't part of the solution to that tend to be part of the problem.

Your better off in my opinion using that money to test and learn something like ppc or solo ads. Heck even ppv is better. It's a sure way to get your ads flagged, banned and ghosted on your account.

There are much better places to invest your time than craigslist. again, just in my opinion.

I agree about him being better off using that money for better things, Not PPC or solo ads though.. My opinion, Do some research, Maybe outsource some writers for some GOOD, quality content in order to improve conversion rates.

If you are worried about your IP address, Change it.
If you are worried about your MAC address.. Change it.
There is this wonderful place... Called Google.. Say it with me.. Goo .. Gle Awesome. Do some searching my friend. (Not sure what extent Craigslist goes into for its ad listing.)

Here's what I would do if I wanted to mess around with Craigslist.

I would start by creating a folder on my desktop, this will help me keep track of all of my information (ad listing URLs, pictures, etc,) I would create a .txt file within my folder, Post my ad. Copy/paste the url in my txt file. [save]
Connect to a proxy in the next area I am going to post an ad, Post the ad with new content. (Do not post the same stuff over and over again. Get New Content)

Disconnect from my proxy. Copy/paste [save]
Rinse and repeat. Once again, this is just what I would do. I would Try doing this for 30 minutes a day for a few days. Taking notes as I went along, really testing the waters if Craigslist works well for my service.

Using any type of automated program, is a TERRIBLE idea.

Reminder, this is just a quick idea how I would go about with Craigslist. I am not Craigslist biggest fan.

Don't forget to clear cookies, rename pictures and I even go so far as creating a separate Windows user profile each time I post a new ad.

I have learned that most of the time you try to take shortcuts in IM you usually end up failing and being worse off than before.

Take the time to do it right.

I know, I know it is tough when you actually have to work to earn your keep

It is always worth doing things the right way. CL is very aggressive monitoring their site and will just ghost all your future articles eventually.

CL is a war zone now anyways. A lot of people are using bots to place ads or auto-flag their competitors ads. CL is really not good at monitoring this at all.

I have used some auto posters with moderate success but CL is constantly updating and unless you have someone with their ears to the ground or an inside connection to CL who can constantly update the software it is nearly impossible to 100% auto-post consistently.

Me personally I have about 20 ads in different cities that are live right now but I follow a very rigid posting strcuture. I have NOT seen ghosting issues one single time in almost a year so I'm not sure why people still talk about it. Instead for me ghosting has been replaced by getting auto flagged by CL which people often mistake as competition flagging them.

I tried CladG in the past but gave up because I just didn't have the free time to learn it entirely. The software has been around for some time and they do let you trial it. The support is usually very responsive as well but it is pricey.
