How to Create a Product that Affiliates will Promote?

Hey everyone. I am new to the forum but I have been reading for awhile. I am interested in creating products and I believe I have a product that will sell. I have looked at Total Product Blueprint and Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula. My issue is that I don't have a list but I know that lots of other people do. So I am interested using affiliates to sell the products. It seems like a win win but it also seems like getting the attention of heavy hitter sellers would be just as tough as building a list.

It is so much info out there but I would be interested to get some advice, such as should I use clickbank or somewhere else? And how do I get affiliates to sell the product?

My niche is how to get a federal job. (USA)

The program will go through all the steps and is very specific and effective. Everything was created by me and their is no PLR content. I have experience in HR at the federal government level so it is a lot of "inside" information so to speak. I do not have an good idea for a price point but I want to create a good price point that would attract sales and also affiliates.

I sincerely appreciate any advice and thank you in advance for helping this newbie.

    I will be very curious in how people answer this. I am currently promoting a product myself and looking for affiliates, and I do not have a very large list.

    From what I understand JVZoo is very good, and Warrior Plus and ClickBank are other options to consider for an affiliate program.

    A lot of making money through affiliate program is giving away your value up front, and making it on the back. Creating a sales funnel with a $7-20 primary product, giving away at least 60% to affiliates, but then having a big product ($49, $99, etc.) with a 50/50% as a one-time-offer where you can make money seems to be a good call.

    As for your niche, a lot of internet marketers' lists and products seem to do with people interested in making money. so I would probably play up how getting a federal job can be lucrative, stable, and other things around building a good life for yourself.

    It's very simple.

    Affiliates tend to promote:

    1.) folks they know who provide stellar products
    2.) quality products that make them money

    Network with the product creators.

    Follow them on FB.

    Join the JV groups like

    Watch the product launches on

    Network with the product creators.

    Share your ideas in the forums.

    Create a launchpad site (ie your own name domain) where you highlight what you bring to the table. That way you can refer product creators to check you out and see you're legit.

    Build up your brand. Show product creators you can help them build their business.

    In other words, take it seriously, become colleagues, and grow.

      Hey thanks for the advice so far, I haven't listed my product anywhere yet, I wasn't aware of the facebook groups for affiliates or the JV announcement sites so I am grateful for that information.

      Do I need to create a sneak peak for the product for the affiliates to look at?

      Also, should I wanted to let the product be a digital product is that acceptable?

      What price point should I look at or get the affiliates advice from FB?

      Thanks again for all the help. I enjoy product creation but I lack experience in the selling on the internet end. So this is great. Total Product Blueprint and Product Launch Formula was a little much because if you don't have a list than they don't appear to work.
