Same hosting account?

When you guys set up hosting and websites for new clients, do you use the same account or setup and pay for a separate account? I'm leaning toward setting up a separate account in case I end up owning the site and selling it.

Thanks

Isn't a "reseller account" the answer to this situation?

Reseller accounts or dedicated accounts gives you option of creating separate cpanel for each domain. This will help you in keeping each and every account separate from each other. You can even give full access of cpanel to each client, which looks professionally good.

In future, when you want to transfer from one web host to another then, it is quite easy to transfer whole cpanel from one web host to another host.

Hi hometutor, You will need to have a reseller account. That will be your best option. Mr. Monetize

  • I would say that separate account would be a much better option.

You can become a reseller and you can setup a hosting account for each of your clients.

I'd go for either a reseller account or seperate accounts. It really depends on your agreements, but the good thing to do would be to give them full ownership of their site, which includes ownership of their own account. 99% of them won't actually need it, but if you explain that you do this for their protection it will be a big plus.
