ClickBank HopLink not displaying my affiliate ID when clicked

So I selected a shortlisted Clickbank product, and clicked on the "Create Hop Link" button.

To test it out, I clicked on it and it took me to the landing page, where the URL displayed does not has my affiliate id in it.

So my question is - is this a technical error, which might result in sales not being credited to my account?

Example:

http://xyzabcdefghk12345.hop.clickbank.net/

This takes me to:

vendorsdomain.com/landing-page

I created hoplinks for some other products as well, and clicking on those does takes me to a URL which has my CB user id at the end.

Visit product site through your Affiliate link and click on payment Button. If your Affiliate ID will be available on bottom of the payment form, No problem there at all.

Thanks, just tried this and still no affiliate ID on the URL displayed on the order page.

I hope that's what you were referring to here?:

Yes, exactly. looks like something is going wrong.....

        Follow this step as well.

Create a hop link for different product and check that is the Affiliate ID available there.

IF YES, that may be a problem specified for the product what you've chosen.

IF NO, a problem related with your account

        Or

Perhaps, it may be a temporary technical error. If this is the first time what it happens, try again 5-6 hours later. If the problem would be continued, inform to CB about it.

That's a problem. It should display "[affiliate=yourID]" at the bottom of the payment-page. If it doesn't, something's very wrong, and you need to discuss it with ClickBank and get to the bottom of it. Sorry - not a very helpful answer, but just confirming that something is very wrong here, and it may cost you affiliate commissions.

(If you want to send me your hoplink in a private message, I'll happily click on it and let you know whether I see your affiliate-ID on the payment page, so at least you'll be able to tell ClickBank whether it's the same when other people click your link.)

Let Clickbank know what your problem is, they should be able to fix it

Some of my clickbank links don't display my hop, but I still credited for every sale. So, don't worry about it.

But if you'd like to make sure, you can click on the payment button in the sales page and check if your affiliate id is displayed at the bottom of Clickbank's payment page.

If you click on the "buy now" button you should see it at the bottom of the payment page.

Thank you everyone who added a reply in this thread.

I feel like an idiot now. I never knew that they display affilaite-id at the bottom of the page as well, hence I kept looking in the display URL.

The checkout page does have my affiliate ID at the bottom of the page.

    Sorry again for noob question.

@Alexa Smith: I have found my answer, but thanks anyway. You are an angel.

Don't worry at all - nobody was born knowing how to do any of this stuff. Glad that it's working, anyway. Your commissions are safe, if that appears on the payment-page.
