Traffic w GR Subdomain

Hi,
I'm planning to build lead magnets with GR.
I know they have their own subdomains which are hosted on their servers.
To make it as practical as possible for me to get enough leads, I want to be there where the traffic is.

Does it mean that
1) the right subdomain name alone with GR's landing page creator can change the number of prospects / leads?
2) Or should I buy domain names with my own hosting company?

Cheers, Camron

    Hi, leads are not determined by what hosting or domain you use. I use a domain and traffic so i can get ranked.
    Best of luck! Zachary

    Maybe I miscommunicated.
    I thought of targetedomainname.com (with high search volume)--> squeeze page --> lead magnet.

    Will that be better than:
    using GetResponse's landing page creator?
    So I thought that the subdomain (targeted with high search volume) automatically gets ranked

    And I just want to know if I need to buy a new domain name, or not

    Excuse my not attempting to answer the substantive part of your question (others will!) but I strongly advise you never to register a domain-name through your hosting company. Keep domain-registration and site-hosting separate. This thread (among many others) explains all the reasons: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7628717

    I don't agree with this statement at all.

    "url credibility" can be very significant indeed to opt-in conversion-rates.
