Does Anyone Know How to....

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone knows of a software that can somehow gather buyers emails when a person purchases from your affiliate link that can be used to build a buyers list.

If you sent them there through your affiliate link it would be nice to build a buyers list.

Anyone know a software or program or a method to do this?

Plz share if you do.

Thanks so much,

Jen P

You don't have the right to collect buyer info as an affiliate. That belongs to the product vendor.

Maybe you could try getting their email before they click on your link. If you had a great review of the product or a special something you created that would help them get more value from their purchase and you gave this to them as a freebie in exchange for their email address.

The question is how to capture the email of those who buy AFTER the purchase. Not the front end feebie list.

You can offer a bonus or complimentary email series and ask people to sign up with with their recipt of purchase. They have to come back and sign up after purchase though so many may not.

I think JVZoo lets you integrate your own bonus with your affiliate sales funnel and capture buyers. One of the affiliate platforms does anyway.

    Hi,

The only option I see is to offer them a bonus when they purchase through your affiliate link.
You ask them to email you back with their receipt and send them back to a squeeze page where they enter their email and are redirected to the bonus download page.

    I hope this helps.

  • As an affiliate you send send them through your own squeeze page to the affiliate offer, but don't promote products with squeeze pages or they will go through 2 consecutive squeeze pages. I have promoted 100 VSL first affiliate products through my squeeze page and that works. They are on my list and went to the affiliate product. The way to do it is make a squeeze page describe the #1 benefit of the VSL and if done right you can get a good optin rate. I found the ugly text only squeeze pages work best, can't get the professional good looking ones to do as well and I have tried and tried and tried.

There are some vendors who will let you have this information (and ClickBank used to provide this information, routinely, to affiliates until a few years ago), but Travlinguy is totally right in mentioning, above, that it's information you're not really entitled to, Jen.

More than that - it's also information you shouldn't need, as an affiliate (I've been making my full-time living as an affiliate for nearly 6 years and I don't need it).

If you build the right sort of relationships with your subscribers, there are many ways of encouraging them (or even "incentivizing" them, if you really want to) to let you know, voluntarily, when they've bought a product.

      Jen,

The way I see it, your initial push should be to get folks to raise their hand that they have an interest in the niche, regardless of whether they are a buyer or not. If you focus solely on buyers, you're wasting a lot of marketing effort because there are lots of people that won't make a purchase when you want them to; but they will purchase from you later.

It's a good idea to segment your list and identify those who have purchased before. But to go after only those people is foolish IMO.

My experience over the past nearly 20 years online is that consumers buy when they are ready. You can certainly have some influence on that readiness with how compelling your offers are . . . but you're not going to completely control their buying timetable because you have no idea about their circumstances.

Many marketers have disdain for what they call "tire kickers." They assume anyone that doesn't buy from them when they ask for the sale is simply a "freebie seeker." I personally think that mentality shows a laziness in the marketer.

If you do it right, you will nurture your prospects, warm them up because they have shown an interest in the niche, and turn them into buyers when they are ready.

      The very best to you,

      Steve

The best thing for you to do is give them an free offer for their email. This is the traditional and safe way to do it

Besides, there is not software available that I know of to do what you want
