Just doing a little research and I came across this video of a little girl
that looks like she's about 2 years old but she is actually 16 years old.

The Doctors are baffled...

It's such a rare condition....unless the mother wanted to buy something...I don't see many others following suit...how much of a market could there be for this? Definately a heart tugging story but unless your collecting donations, I don't see any opportunity here.

Wow! That is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I wouldn't try to monetize it. I just think it's very cool that the parents seem so loving and great, but are willing to let Brook's case expand scientific knowledge.

It's amazing how some people can read a paragraph and only really see
the sentence that disturbs them.

Ah - but that's the problem with the written (as opposed to the spoken) word. There are no other clues about your meaning - no intonation, to chance to ask you to rephrase.

If you were to pursue this niche, and not in a sensationalist manner, there would probably be a wide range of products and services for both the individuals and the families of those affected.

However, if you are only interested in monetizing this niche for the sake of making money and not offering much of value in return, you may need to rethink your intentions. Capitalizing on someone else's unusual physical condition just for the sake of earning money is not an honorable motive.

However, if you have a sincere desire to help and some valid experience, services or insight to offer, you could probably carve out a specialized niche on this topic.

That station is always running specials such as "The Tree Man" (yep, Dede was featured on TLC), primordial dwarfism shows, shows about "giants", shows about very obese folks (1000+ pounds), shows about "electric people," shows about people who have uncontrollable hair growth on their faces as well as their bodies... and other specials with people who have really rare medical conditions.

As the father of a child who lived for 8 years but didn't grow past the 11 month stage I would say leave it alone.

I lived through what this girls parents are going through, to a large degree, and know first hand what it feels like to be exploited by someone looking for a quick buck.

Unless you have a personal relationship with the girl and her parents, and have full parent approval I think it is extremely poor taste to try to make money off of this girls situation.

I, too, have a child with a disability and it is through those eyes I originally saw the OP. I understand.
