I Challenge YOU to SPONSOR A WARRIOR in need - *CHALLENGE - 100 Warriors Sponsored*
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Can we come together, and sponsor 100 Warriors in need, to quite possibly change their lives forever?

CHALLENGE - 100 Warriors Sponsored by 2011

First off, let me start of by saying that the Warrior Forum is an amazing forum. The Warrior Forum is quite literally LIFE CHANGING for many.

I know it changed my life for the better, has it had an effect on yours?

I want YOU to SPONSOR A WARRIOR

How can you sponsor a Warrior?
  • Paypal them the funds to get a War Room membership
  • Pay for a Warriors for Hire ad for a Warrior so they can make their first couple bucks online before Christmas.
  • Mentor a Warrior and help them post their first WSO, so they can become motivated and realize making money online is REAL
Message from Caleb Splichen detailing how he's sponsored a Warrior -

You know, I won't mention names but there were several occasions where I'd get a PM or an e-mail from a Warrior here stating their situation in life, and their desire to earn a living online.

Some people say they don't have the money, others say their wife is getting mad at them, some say that it is truly killing them not knowing, and/or trying and failing to make money.

Now, I ALWAYS say the following, not in these exact words.

"Hello, sorry to hear about your situation. There is in fact, two methods that I'm aware of that you can use to make money online, almost guaranteed.

The first method is to provide your services. The reason for this is because there will always be more marketers than there are people who provide services for them.

Marketers always come to a point in their business where they need to outsource what they do. If you can write words, you can write articles for people for cash.
If you can speak clearly into a microphone, you can write articles for people for cash (microsoft speech feature ).

If you know how to create graphics, you can do that for people for cash.

If you know how to build backlinks, you can do that for marketers.

It doesn't matter when you post your services, there will always be someone in need of them.

Method 2 is to create your own product and sell that. The reason this is almost guaranteed to work, is because although not everybody truly wants to buy it, people likely WILL still buy it out of curiosity.

The best way to create a good product, is to make your first couple dollars online. Write that method down in the form of a guide, and sell it. As long as the methods and techniques have your own twist, you can sell it.

So, method 1 - Sell your services.

method 2 - Create and sell a product.

If you can take action on either of the above, I hope you can come back and purchase my course "
I think that by sponsoring a Warrior, you're not necessarily directly giving them money or benefit, as they still have to do the work to make the money.

However I understand that the initial investment which is the building block of future success (gotta spend money to make money), I think sponsoring a Warrior is a great way to help a fellow marketer get on the path to success.

So, I CHALLENGE YOU to SPONSOR A WARRIOR in need!

Go out, and find a Warrior who could use a sponsorship. You can ask them to pay you back, after they make money if you wish, I'm sure most would. Either way, for sponsoring a Warrior you can get the following...

If you sponsor a Warrior for either a War Room membership or a WSO posting...I'll give you 3 of my WSO's for FREE!

If you sponsor a War Room membership or a WSO posting, you'll get Article Copycat, Niche Business Automation System, and the Ultimate Backlinks Report for FREE! That's a value of equal to or more than the cost for you to sponsor a Warrior. I'll also include 5 free custom Wordpress themes WITH NO BRANDING if you want them. Including a 'x-factor' style theme.

If you sponsor a Warriors for Hire ad for a Warrior in need of a motivational head start, I'll give you 2 of my WSO's for FREE!

If you sponsor a Warrior by providing a Warriors for Hire or Classified ad, you can get 2 of the 3 following WSO's for free. Niche Business Automation System, Article Copycat System, and the Ultimate Backlinks report! I'll also include 5 free custom Wordpress themes WITH NO BRANDING if you want them. Including a 'x-factor' style theme.

Here is how to prove you sponsored a Warrior to claim your free gifts, or out of the kindness of your heart just to help a Warrior.

- Ask the Warrior you're sponsoring to come here to the thread, and say I was sponsored by 'xxx' before, or after you sponsor them.

- Come to the thread and leave a message saying 'I sponsored 'xxxx' (don't throw their name out there without asking of course ).

Can this very thread be responsible for changing the lives of 100 Warriors before the New Year?

Find and SPONSOR A WARRIOR in need today!

IF YOU WANT TO BE SPONORED - What are you willing to do in return?

I've sponsored warriors before, you just send the funds to allen's paypal {ask WF Support} And then submit a ticket with the trans id, and the name. That's it.

I'll sponsor another though, let me know who needs one

Just double checking. Didn't know if you was actually challenging people to GO and find someone to sponsor

Anyways..

Looking for a sponsor

What I'm looking for is someone to help me get started in the SERVICE area. I've been doing affiliate work for awhile but I'm looking to try and make money with my services.

The main thing that comes to mind(that isn't over saturated) is that I'm very good in front of the camera. So if you can think of any kind of work I could offer people that would require this kind of service, let me know!

It would be a privilege if somebody decides to sponsor me into the War Room. I've read several posts on the benefits of the War Room and it seems like it's the next logical step for me. Currently I work full time and study IM in my spare time. I am ready to take action and believe that the War Room will help me with implementing some of the strategies.

However, I also believe in the laws of reciprocity and a win-win situation. I do not want anything free. In exchange I am willing to help you with some aspects of your business. I can research a niche, find keywords, analyze competition, create backlinks, critique a website, review an ebook, etc. Your pick.

Thank you in advance for consideration.

Amazing idea... just goes to show that the Warrior Forums are like no other IM help site out there.

This is an honest question, not a criticism: Have the people who have been given this gift actually understood its worth? There is A LOT of free stuff on the Internet already. Have all the people who have been given this gift-- or at least a very high percentage of them-- gone on to success? Or have a large number of them disappeared?

I ask honestly because in the past I have given people things of obscene value and they were completely taken for granted by people who never stuck around to learn of their worth.

First thing that came to mind when you said good in front of the camera was.... well it's something guys who work in large offices look at in their cubicles.

Sorry, just kidding... But have you ever considered maybe doing some type of "ghost" video for people. Probably a terrible way to phrase that, but what I mean to say is a lot of people are camera shy. Videos definitely help sales, and people might be willing to pay you to be their "face" for the product, if you catch my drift.

Hello, if some one would sponsor me a war room membership, I'd appreciate a whole lot from the bottom of my heart. I'm just 16 years old, and I've read lots about internet marketing, but in my country, it's hard for me to get cash especially if you cant even get a credit card/ paypal at this age. I won't fail that person who sponsors me!

Haha Hey man that's a different subject

So yea, I could definitely be the face of products no problem. You think that's worth putting up in ad here on the WF? Do people actually hire people like me more often than not?

I'm the same age for you. If you want to succeed in business, the most important thing that you have to do is ask for help. My dad got a credit card for me, under my name, with his approval and however what who-ha works. I used his PayPal for a long time, before I switched over to using the paypal account for the inc, which again he holds shares in.

Hey guys,

This is a wonderful challenge, and I hope that hopeful Warriors will be genuine in their request for a War Room sponsorship. This is a gift that should not be taken for granted - the War Room access opens the doors to big opportunity, and folks who win a sponsorship need to take this seriously.

Anyone that wins a War Room sponsorship from me, also wins personal mentoring from me as well. So, you should be someone that is truly dedicated to making a change in your life, who is willing to make quality use of the War Room and WF in general, their New Year's resolution.

If you are truly looking to make a positive change in your lives, tell us more about YOU and why you should be considered. I don't want to be rude about something so positive - but we are not asking much of you in exchange for changing your life forever.

If you are going to PM me asking for a war room sponsorship, please take some time out and put some thought into your request. As Caleb said, begging won't get you far at all - it will only gain you lots of disrespect.

I plan on watching this thread closely in the next week....as I will definitely choose someone worthy to sponsor - and mentor.

Happy holidays to one and all!

Cheers,
Brian

It's Christmas, and I am in the giving spirit too. I have watched this thread and think that we might be going about it the wrong way, at least with War Room memberships.

Instead of nominating yourself in this thread, why not nominate someone else.

As we read the posts on the forum we should note who is contributing to the forum, that doesn't have a war room membership. I feel better sponsoring someone that is active and will actually use a War Room membership. No offense, but I am skeptical when I see someone that recently registered, has a few short posts, and is asking for things.

I'm not selling anything.

I was kinda thinking the same thing too - I hate putting out rules or qualification standards for something like this. But nominating someone is a true sign of respect - and testimonial.

I know people I would nominate as well - but I would speak to them first before putting them out here, just so they know they are up for a prize, and can introduce themselves to us all.

I wouldn't doubt it, I'm sure there's at least a few hundred people willing to give you some money for being the face of their product. If you are going to do the entire video and make it professional, I know if I was camera shy I'd pay you.

Only bad part of fiverr, is it's $5.00. If you had a simple template and you did a 30 second video for $5.00, by all means go ahead. But don't give someone something that takes you several hours for only $5.00.

*** Been a good thread to follow so far, I'm looking forward to seeing who might be nominated by other members.

This is a very cool thread. The first person that came to mind for me whom I would nominate would be excuzemee, who has been very helpful and encouraging in the "Beginner challenge" threads in this subsection of the forum, for example, with posts like this: http://www.warriorforum.com/member-c...ml#post2851451 - really going above and beyond what a lot of people would do. I hope he doesn't mind me nominating him.

"Keep moving forward."

i wouldn't say no to a mentor , grin , so much i can still learn and want to learn and oh yes i'm eager , very hungry to learn the ropes

You see, everyone likes or needs help at some point , i often try to help in any way i can .

and yes i admit ... i like to have a mentor , someone i can share my ideas with, someone who tells me if they are good or not, someone that smacks me on the head and tells me , keep working instead of wandering off, lol

thanks for this challenge , i hope i might get lucky finding a mentor

thumbs up

I think this is a noble idea, and sounds good on paper. But, there is an old saying that goes something like this.

It's much wiser to teach someone how to fish, than to give them a fish.
The moral is that if you teach someone, you help them become strong and independant, to fin for themselves and not become someone who has to be dependant on others.

Money given away will many times more than not, just go to waste, because there is no real responsibility involved.

But if you took the time to teach someone, they would then have the knowledge that could "if acted upon" change their life for the better. Of course they would have to take believing action on that knowledge to see any results.

If people did this type of giving more often, people would do much better. Because it would build strong independance and responsibility for one's own actions.

I personally would opt out of money vs. being trained in a special field or niche.

Money given away will many times more than not, just go to waste, because there is no real responsibility involved.

This is more of a 'sponsorship' than actually giving people money. As Caleb stated how you can actually sponsor a Warrior.

You don't actually give anybody money, but rather help them achieve their first fishing pole, "so they can learn how to fish"

Steve - I could not agree more. That is why I feel the way I do - and said what I said earlier: "Not only would I be giving someone a sponsorship, I would be giving them mentoring too"

I wouldn't want this to feel like an application, you know? But I do want folks who ask for a sponsorship to be serious about making a change in their lives - and I am prepared to give much more than a sponsorship, to include my mentoring. For you can lead a horse to water, but that does not mean it knows how to drink.

This seems like a really great thread to help out those who need it.

As much as I would love to be sponsored I'm sure there are other people out there who probably need it more than me.

So good luck to those lucky people who get sponsored. Make sure you take action because you will have been given an opportunity instead of someone else.

Enjoy

Early in this thread, I also asked this question. In my past experiences, in other areas of life, giving things away almost always leads to poor results. Has anyone kept track of this being done for the War Room in the past, and whether or not those who received such a great gift went on to use it well? Were they successful, and did they return the favor or "pay it forward"?

I would strongly suggest someone consider that for this time around. As the other saying goes, "If it can't be measured, it can't be managed."

Now all that being said, Brian, as a Newbie myself who lost all initial investment was thrust into serious debt by scammers before finding the warrior forums, I would be much more interested in the idea of mentorship than membership. The latter I can eventually pay for myself, but the former would be priceless.

Tell me, what are you looking for in a prospective student? What are your expectations, and what do you want in return?

I would be happy to suggest someone else, if I knew any of them. I am one of the people that you will see that has been not been very active with posts, etc. Not because I do not want to be helpful, but because I feel everyone else here must know so much more than me that I would just look like an idiot. Not to mention that some of the topics I read about here are so over my head I have to go google it to know what they are talking about. But that is good for me because I am learning new things.

I would dearly love to have a mentor. I am not sure what I would gain from having a war room membership, since if I feel dumb in the general forum, how would that elite forum make me feel? But the mentoring part would be great!

I have been trying affiliate marketing for about a year now. I have learned a lot, but it has been slow. Each site gets progressively better and I am at the point now of making a few bucks a month, but that could just be because it is Christmas.

I do not want a hand out, but I would love a hand up. It would be fabulous to me to have someone who knows what they are doing take more than a quick glance at my site and tell me what they think. I spent an hour with a woman from the Small Business Administration on Tuesday and gathered enough information and suggestions from her to keep me busy the rest of the week. That is the kind of help I need.

So if any of you would like to mentor me, I will be happy to provide a way to make Christmas feel good for you by allowing you to experience the joy of giving.

I have to admit, I’ve been following this thread periodically. I wanted to see what it takes for somebody to offer this sponsorship and what kind of qualities they look for in the recipients. I am actually quite surprised that nobody was sponsored so far. On the other hand, the way the challenge was set up does not make it easy for sponsors. They have to actively seek out potential “warriors in need”. Everybody is extremely busy and this extra effort may just prevent this challenge to become really successful. I can also understand hesitation of “sponsors” – in essence, there is no accountability for this gift. And there should not be, gift is a gift. Yes, you might think that somebody is not going to appreciate it and even use it, and, well, it might be true. But, the strength is in numbers. If this challenge will help only one person to succeed – it is totally worth it. It will change life of somebody, and I am sure, this person will pay it forward big time. So don’t be afraid to give, helping somebody will eventually help you, just the way the universe works.

I also agree with a couple of posts on this thread (Steve and Brian), regarding teaching and mentoring. This by itself is a much bigger gift, but also an enormous commitment. I think most new IMs would prefer mentorship over the “war room” sponsorship. I don’t think you can apply for mentorship, you have to be chosen. Anyway, if somebody prefer to help fellow warriors this way, please do. They will also pay it forward big time.

I did ask for sponsorship in my earlier post here in exchange for help with business. I just, personally, believe in mutual benefits. However, thinking about it now, there are must be people out there who need it a lot more than I do. I should be able to get my own membership pretty soon. But if somebody is looking for an apprentice, I’d like to be considered.

Give to receive.

Best,

Iva

If one wants to be sponsored - What can you do for your sponsor?

Graphic design, website build, a few articles, video creation etc...?

I'm not saying you can't be sponsored otherwise, but there's plenty of Warriors here in the thread that are ready and willing to sponsor a Warrior.

But is it worth it for them? If you want to be sponsored by a successful Warrior/mentor, why not do what YOU can to make it worth it for them?

Think about all the things you can provide for these generous men and women, that wouldn't cost you a dime? Would it be worth it to you, to write a handful of articles in Microsoft Word in exchange for what might literally change your life?

My gut says, if the people who WANT TO BE SPONSORED start throwing offers out there, the results will be much better for this challenge.

Example, determined marketer says "I'll whip up 10 articles and optimize them for search engines if someone can sponsor me and help launch my first WSO!"

"I'll create a package of PPC banners for all sizes if a Warrior sponsors me a War Room membership" etc.

I've recently read the book 4 Hour Work Week, 3 times to be exact, and as result of that book starting using their forums. The Warrior Forum is mentioned many times over there and as result, I've come here to learn what I can. To put it simply, I'm overwhelmed. I've started several different projects trying out different avenues, and I haven't seen any of them become successful yet. My goals are as follows:

1. Create some passive income
2. Reinvest that income into growing it so that it would allow me to potentially quit my job and do what I REALLY want to do for a living. (Video/Multimedia work with After Effects/Cinema 4d)
3. Travel and work from wherever I want
4. Mentor others to do the same, including my daughters.

So far, I've been trying out many different avenues with very little success.

1. I'm in the process of writing an ebook dealing with food allergies. (our family has just recently had to work through these issues.) The ebook was a first foray into this world. The ultimate goal for this project is to turn it into a website that provides meal plans on a subscription basis.
2. I've purchased reseller rights to a very successful book written by another Warrior forum member (which is converting at 13% for him, but 0% for me so far).
3. I've started going down the Clickbank path, submitting articles to several listing sites with links back to Clickbank books. Haven't seen anything yet there, but I expected a little time on this one.
4. I've started creating new blog sites, finding PLR articles on the subject and scheduling posts over the next month to populate the blog in order to generate traffic and ranking. Then I plan on adding adsense ads once they are established, say a month or so down the road. The goal there was to see about starting up a lot of sites to feed the machine.
5. Working with a friend to explore setting up a Facebook type site for a specific group of people and organizations in an area that I have a lot of interest. This would require funding and hiring of developers to get done. This is a long term project that is just in it's infancy.

As you can see, I'm using the shotgun approach. I could use a more focused, rewarding process to fuel the machine. I wish I just could start seeing results, and that is frustrating. I just don't know enough to make it move in the right direction. This project looks like something I would greatly benefit from.

I am more than willing to provide my skills in return. Graphic design, website build, a few articles, video creation, I can do all of those, with limits of course. I'm more of a jack of all trades.

In the past, I've hosted my own podcast with my daughter and had a blast doing it. I've helped my daughter create a video for our local If I were mayor competition. She won the local contest and went on to the state competition. There she didn't win, but they actually created a special award for her because of the quality of her video. <grin>

I've got lots of skills and abilities and I am willing to put them to use.

I appreciate your consideration and I look forward to learning all I can!

I have to say that I am in LOVE with Warriorforum and just read about all of the great things offered in the War Room. I am very new to IM and have been spending the past few months reading and learning. I created a very simple site for one of my friends using a keyword term that had no competition (single guy wanting a "gimmick" to use at bars). I bought Adam's WSO - Ultimate Backlink Report (AWESOME purchase btw...) and used it to help me build backlinks. After two weeks I had 46 backlinks showing up on Yahoo's site explorer and now show up #1 for the keyword terms I worked on
While I know that isn't much of an accomplishment I felt great about learning and implementing something online that actually worked! It really made me believe that maybe I can do this!

After reading about the War Room I am very interested in joining. As I do not really have any skills to offer I'm not sure I am a candidate for being sponsored, but if I joined on my own, are there any advanced Warriors out there that may want to bring me on as an apprentice or intern of sorts?

I am available for as many hours of free labor as a Warrior would like from me in exchange for learning from someone that is successfully making a living online. I am in the US on the east coast and am at your disposal as a student/free laborer.

Ready for my fishing pole and ready to turn the IM corner in 2011

You all really inspire me to keep at it - Thank You for that...

I must totally agree with these comments. They cut to the core of such relationships. I have offered and given many hours of the years to help others, only to see them fade away. And it's not always their fault because not everyone has the same level of commitment as you do.

Others are simply not prepared to pay the price to achieve success. Whereas some, well... the student just isn't ready.

I noticed some comments about applications... well, there should be if people want mentoring. Personally, I will no longer help people who do not have the burning desire to succeed. It's just a waste of time... for both of us.

Back to this post...

I commented in another thread that your income will grow in proportion to the value you add to people's lives.

It's that principle that drew me to this particular post. Rather than asking for help, try and think of ways that you can add to your mentor's business. What can you do for them that proves that they are not wasting their time?

I have a policy with my outsource team that each member not only completes my work, but I also try and help them set up an additional income stream leveraging my business. It's a win-win situation for them... if they are ready to work.

So if you have skills that can add value to my business, and are prepared to learn along the way so that you can succeed on your own terms as well, then hit me up and tell what you have to offer. In return, I'l share my systems and contacts with you to help you get your own business off the ground. My door is open.

If you simply want someone to tell you what to do, or do it for you... then I am not the person for you.

I would be interested in a mentorship sponsorship for a very specific task. I would like to learn how to create a paid wp plugin(by create, I mean outsource or create), and then take it to market. Right now I just have an idea for a plugin that I would be willing to pay for and that would solve a lot of issues for me.

In exchange:

For the greater good: I would be more than willing to pay for the war room for a warrior of the mentors choice.

For the mentor:

Not knowing what would appeal to someone with the specific knowledge I am looking for, I am not sure what to offer. Very simplistically, I am willing start at partnering to assisting them with some grunt work to whatever is reasonable.

Yes, you are right.

Now, let me start:

I need someone to turn my 7-page info product to audio and video.

I also need someone to sponsor my first WSO. Why can't I do it?

My wallet is not fat right now and I can't use PayPal because of my location.

I will do some graphics/PPC Banners for the person or each of the persons that helps me out.

Cheers.

Hey all, I'm not a frequent visitor here but I have managed to get a .co.uk site ranked into top 5 of google uk and have earnt about £700 this year from the domain

I'm not sure if I qualify but I'd love a bit of mentoring and in eturn I'd help pass on the knowledge I had learnt to others in need.

Many thanks...

Latest site I am working on: Devsters Forums

Now, let me start:

I need someone to turn my 7-page info product to audio and video.

I also need someone to sponsor my first WSO. Why can't I do it?

My wallet is not fat right now and I can't use PayPal because of my location.

I will do some graphics/PPC Banners for the person or each of the persons that helps me out.

Cheers.

What are your graphic design skills like as far as banners? Do you have photoshop or a good professional graphics tool you can use?

Hello everyone,

I'm Alex from Malaysia, computer lecturer by day and internet marketer by night. My dream is to one day have a full-time online business and be able to spend lots of quality time with my lovely family.

I'm not exactly a newbie but could really use any advice, help or joint-ventures from a potential mentor.

I've learned a lot since I first started in internet marketing and I'm still learning every day. Every night I work hard on my laptop till about 3:30 a.m, sleep for a few hours and then go to my day job in the morning. Still, I'm not really moving towards my goals as fast as I would like to be.

Some time ago, I ran my first WSO here. I had been reading about the problems that newbies were facing, and I wanted to create an all-in-one resource center for newbies. They would be able to get ebooks, software, web templates, graphics, audios and web hosting for one low monthly price. Occasionally there would be guest experts to conduct training and answer their questions.

You can see my WSO thread here:

http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...7-monthly.html

I bought a MemberSpeed software license, had someone design my site header for me, but set up the rest of the site myself. I couldn't afford any copywriter so I wrote all the sales copy for the WSO post and the site myself. I gave it my best shot and thought that it wasn't too bad. You can see my membership site here:

Newbie Success Club

Guess what happened? My WSO was a total flop! I only got 1 reply and not a single sign up to this day.

Anyway, I didn't let that get to me. I was a bit disappointed but I'm not one to dwell on failures.

Now I've written an ebook called Super Lifesavers- Top Free Software Tools That Save You Time & Money. I put it in the War Room as a free download and it's got a lot of good reviews:

http://www.warriorforum.com/war-room...y-updated.html

There's also a Rebrandable version so you can rebrand it with your own affiliate links, and give it away to build your list and make some money.

If someone would like to do a JV with me or share some advice to take me to the next level, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much.

Alex
