Over the last few years the public domain has become a serious passion of mine. I am always thinking of ways that I can utilize the public domain to pump out money making products while at the same time maintaining an interest in what I am producing.

Several years back I began running a weekly feature on one of my websites that I called “Saturday Morning Cartoons”. What I would do is take old cartoons that were in the public domain and provide them for my visitors viewing pleasure....

I love working with the public domain. I've been doing it for years now and have used it to pull in a nice income. Seriously, where else can you find already made products that you can be put to immediate use to start generating a steady flow of income? No where.

From what I have seen when it comes to most people using public domain works is that they take the "lazy man's" route and simply find a public domain work and use it as it. That's fine but there isn't much money...
