    I saw your review of "How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling".

    I bought that book about 9 years ago, and I read it for the second time recently. I should read it more often.

    I have just bought your book "Selling Local Advertising" Kindle edition on Amazon, but because I am in New Zealand and have never purchased an actual product (digital items don't count) I was unable to leave a review.

    I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to write this book. I'm so grateful you decided share your tried and tested techniques you have accumulated that have given you the best results in your years of sales. This book is absolute gold to the visitors of the offline sub-forum, it should be mandatory reading to all who gather here.

    Until I bought this book, my biggest problem was the approach. I have worked on and developed a what I know is a really great system to help business owners retain and engage current customers with list building and reviews. Because I am so green when it comes to sales however, my biggest problem is the confidence to get in front of them with my idea.

    Your survey idea made explosions go off in my brain, and coupled with a conversational approach, I finally feel like I can do this. I just need to get out there and start talking to business owners. The survey approach will get my foot in the door and encourage a dialogue, then the battle will be half won.

    The thing with your techniques are, they work. You know they work, because you have tested them. I wasn't too sure about just randomly walking in and talking to business owners, worried it would take too much time. I now realise these ideas are going to save time, not take time. I will be much further ahead, because I will have had actual conversations and got a real world idea of what to expect and say in the future. Your ideas fill in the blanks I have been searching for.

    This has got a lot longer than expected, so I'll leave it there. Thanks again for the great read, and for everything you share so freely here, it is much appreciated.
