Having covered a fair amount of books recently something occurred to me as I was making my way through certain pages in which I became suddenly aware of my reading habits in a similar way that I've had an epiphany recently relating to the way I work.
I guess it relates to a desire for perfectionism and thoroughness.
When I'm working on the computer and I'm doing something as naming a file; if I've found that I haven't typed the filename with a capital letter, I'll delete...

How many motivational videos have you seen that has the message (amongst others);
"Even if you have to lose X hours / days sleep, you'll sacrifice it to win!"
"Winners don't have time for sleep! Sleep when you die!"
I'm sure you'd agree that these lines taken out of the context of their videos and the complimentary hard hitting, high impact soundtrack, they are quite humorous and preposterous lines that make sense to an unrealistic...

If you use an autoresponder in your day to day IM business to build and manage a list, you'll know that a good portion of your list won't actually even open any of your emails. This is due mostly to the fact that people use free mail services such as Hotmail, Yahoo and Google Mail where messages sent by popular autoresponders unfortunately just end up landing in bulk / spam mail folders.
In other cases subscribers may get the initial email (or confirmation and first follow up depending...

I've read my fair share of "self help / motivational" books and many of them have featured a similar message relating to your schedule, your activity and.....getting out of bed!
The message is simple and takes on this form:
You need to give yourself something in your schedule every day which causes you to leap out of bed the next.
If you've packed your schedule with an exciting (or even urgent) activity then this will dictate how likely...
