For some reason the WF didn't allow me to reply to your message - possibly because I'm in Viet Nam and all sorts of strange things happen here!

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for making contact - it's great to meet up with someone who was in Rhodesia and the same time I was. I left in 1977, also for the UK, where I stayed for about 17 years. I came to Hong Kong 15 years ago and very much think of this as home, now that Zim is completely wrecked.

Thanks, too, for your kind words about my sites. It's always interesting to hear the unprompted comments of others, because I still think of myself as a newbie, having been doing this for 3 years.

Most of the people I learn from have been doing it for anything up to 15 years..! So I've a long way to go yet.
