Using Twitter Effectively

My Twitter used to be absolutely loaded with followers. Out of the 1000 followers I had, I got 1 client. Clearly, I wasn't following the right people and the right people weren't following me.

I create content, thats pretty much all I do while I'm on the PC. And I need people who may need content creation, blog management, wordpress help and what not to follow me on twitter, vice versa.
