You hear people talk all the time about keyword research and whether or not keywords are profitable enough to try and attain. Unfortunately, a large majority of new marketers don't really look at all of the factors that go into deciding whether a keyword is good or not.

One of the most important things that I do when I am deciding on a keyword or not is to take a look at exactly what kind of pages are ranking for the keyword in question.

It seems as though everyone out in internet land is more concerned with what the marketer next to him is doing than what he or she is doing themselves.

Now, this might seem overly opinionated and I might come off as a jerk, but I don't care. Here is my take on the whole thing...

Everyday we see marketer A bitching about Marketer B because he is using email titles and such that they don't like. Guess what? That is how they choose to run their business and they won't do it...
