The Adobe Reader example of link building importance has always stuck with me.
If you search for "click here" in Google (even without quotes), the Adobe site is and has been the #1 result.
The secret in Google's own words "these terms only appear in links pointing to this page". The words "click here to download" were used almost every time a website linked to the Adobe Reader software.
This really is a simple concept. So...
