And the answer is, "It depends."
A lot of factors come into play when you set your rates. Including the type of copy... your level of experience... and your history of producing winners.
Fortunately, Bob Bly has produced a top-notch guide to help you set your fees. I purchased a copy myself even though I had already established my rates -- and I...

Unfortunately, the answer is: "Not at this time."
I do plan to have a copy cub system in place by next year. And at that time, I'll screen potential copy cubs by reviewing their resumes/CVs, samples, and/or having them complete a sample assignment.

I sometimes pass opportunities along to other copywriters.
For instance, right now I have a client who's looking for a third copywriter. He's looking for someone with proven copywriting skills and experience in the financial/investment niche.
If that sounds like something you're interested in, let's talk.
And even if it doesn't, you're welcome to add your name to my list for any other opportunities that come along.

Every copywriter should have at least one package by Clayton Makepeace in his or her swipe file.
No, on second thought... if you're a copywriter, you should have as many Makepeace swipes as you can get your hands on.
Both the American Writer's & Artists Institute (AWAI) and Bob Bly have named Clayton "the highest-paid copywriter in America" -- and with good reason. He pulls in more money in a year -- and sometimes in a single month -- than most copywriters...

to Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts!
I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I’m a "swipe file" enthusiast. I must have well over a hundred physical swipes in my file cabinet and scattered around my office. Plus hundreds – maybe even thousands – of electronic ones on my computer.
And I’m always adding to my collection.
I find them everywhere: In the mail … in magazines and newspapers … on the Web...
