I doubt he'd sell them for that cheap if they were already making money. It's likely they can make money on autopilot, but that will involve work on your end by building traffic to the sites.

If you'd like you can purchase a website creation package from me personally. We don't monetize (however AdSense is possible) or build traffic, but we'll definitely get you going in the right direction. This is of course purely up to you.
