Now that Google has changed the rules, SEO will never be the same. The good news is that it might be even better. You just have to be more efficient.

Now, if you have all the time in the world, you could spend it in building a quality website, waiting for people to award it some worthy links and seeing if, over time, its popularity might bump up a notch or two. If you have the patience and cash on hand to wait for it, that is.

No, it's not your imagination. Ranking well on Google has been getting much harder these days.

Not long ago, you could throw up any piece of keyword-stuffed rubbish and enjoy the ride as your site floated easily to the top of the charts, but Google's a lot smarter now. Keywords alone won't cut it anymore.
