I've received several PMs about my experiences with “Coaches.” I thought I'd spend some time sharing with you.

You'll notice, I cannot for legal reasons, mention any names or specifics. I will give out general information.

My intent here is not to "bring down" any specific "Coaches."

Instead, I'm hoping to keep you from wasting time and money...

This is information I wish someone had shared with me before I went looking...

I had someone PM me about my blog post:

[BUYER BEWARE] Questions To Ask Before Hiring A Coach

He asked me ways "Coaches" can work around a "Money Back Guarantee."

The most prevalent one I've seen is the "Coach" isn't 100% clear on what he means by a "Money Back Guarantee."

Most people assume they can just request their money back... and they'll get it. That is rarely the case.

Lately, I've seen a lot of discussion about the cost of Web Development. It is troubling to see how many pieces are being missed.

People equate Web Development with done/not done tasks like digging a foundation for a home...

Digging a foundation, you verify it is in the correct location and the correct dimensions. It is either done or not done. That is it.

People think Web Development is the same.... The web application is built... The buyer performs...

There is one question that pops up over and over...

Should I Hire A Web Development Company That Outsources Its Work To A Third Party?

There are a few problems with hiring a company that outsources its work...

They are merely acting as "brokers."

The company doesn't have ANY expertise in that area... That is WHY they outsource...

Do you really want to trust your work to a company that has NO expertise?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Here are some questions to ask before hiring a "Coach"

1. What is your response time?

Why ask this?

You want to know what their “formal” response time is.... Keep in mind, many “Coaches” promise a one day turnaround... In my personal experience, very few actually deliver....

2. How is the content delivered?

Why ask this?

You want to know if this is a “group” coaching via Skype,...

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 02:25 AM.
