Hi Stew, Sorry I only just picked up your message. Well, in hindsight I should have had a fixed line internet/phone connection as we ended up staying in that rented place longer than initially anticipated. Mobile broadband is great, but it's not only very limiting if used exclusively. But generally speaking I was surprised how stable and fairly speedy the connection still 'appeared' (well, in Brisbane it would be better than somewhere regional).
But usually 300-400kbps. Compare that to 16Mbps (i.e. 40x times that speed) that I am having currently ... I am now on cable internet.
Happy caravanning around Oz, sounds like a great idea.

Hi Rollie. couldn't help but notice you share my predicament - limited monthly mobile internet download allowance. I'm on Bigpond's max of 12Gb but blew it in 2 weeks this month. And don't you suffer for it during the s-l-o-w down phase. Criminally slow. Bummer when most product launches are almost entirely delivered as video courses. I sold a house in Wynnum 6 weeks ago and am now caravanning around Oz which itself presents a new layer of challenges for running an IM biz.
