This blog post isn't about knocking the affiliate WSO system,- in fact I think it's a terrific system and that the script used to manage it is excellent and so full marks go to Mike Lantz for his innovative skills there.
What this post is about however, is the huge barrage of emails that clog up my inbox all telling me about the latest and greatest WSO that just came out.
Now, I love this Warrior Forum and I do buy a fair number of WSO's. Probably between 1 and 4 per week...

Ok,.. time for a little rant.
I'm going to let of a bit of steam here and doing it "off the record" so to speak and not mentioning any names as that wouldn't actually be Kosher either, because I'm just getting tired of seeing too many WSO's coming out lately that can't be described as anything more than "newbie traps" and/or hyped up products that do little (if anything at all) to deliver or perform in the manner expected by the unwitting and trusting purchasers....

Hi Guys,
not sure if anyone noticed but I recently changed my Warrior ID name from "RussRave" to "Russell Hall". I did that by contacting WF help desk and requesting the change (you can't change it manually yourself).
So why did I do that?
Well,... I'd been using RussRave since I started in October 2009 and at the time I wanted to tie it into my blog ID russrave-dotcom, but I recently decided to change that image and direction as I feel I've now...

Hi guys,
I ran a WSO last April (2010) which was overall quite successful. It promoted a product I'd created called WP-Squeezey Pages which is a simple WordPress Sales Page generator.
I started off the WSO at $7 and it moved through several sales processes up to a final price of $19 (less than my sales page) where it sat after selling a few. I stopped bumping the thread and started to focus on other things. In the meantime the product still was getting the occasional sale...

Hi guys,.. first off let me extend a very warm and sincere wish for a very prosperous and fulfilling 2011 for you all.
What are the reasons why...
They say you should wish for others the very things you would wish for yourself, and so that's what I'm doing here. The thing is that this year (2011) for the first time in about 3 years I feel very positive about the year ahead, and so I'm confident that for me and my family that it will be a very happy and prosperous new year.
What are the reasons why...
