Hi.Been reading your posts.For 6 years I been going door to door selling fish and seafood in Northern B.C and Alberta. I hated this job but there was nothing else I could do that would give me the money I needed to take care of my wife and kids who live across the sea. The best advice.Don't look or act like a salesman. Forget your goal,just focus on connecting with people in a kind and friendly way. Believe it or not you will actually grow to enjoy this.The tone of your voice is very important. My initial focus was on them. a funny story, small talk about the weather, done with a smile, then shift the focus on asking them a question regarding their business promotions. Then followup with .."the reason I asking is"..then give them your irresistible offer. Experience has taught me that if you want to do it..it's unlikely to work. If you need to do it...it may work. If you have no other choice and take action.It will work. Hope this helps...Good luck to you!
