I recently (Feb 09) built my first ever "to flip" site as a bit of an experiment.

I purchsed the domain at www.namecheap.com for $8.88, added it to my hosting, then installed a basic Wordpress configuration.

I uploaded a few plugins...

• All-in-one SEO
• Sociable
• Google XML Sitemaps

All this took about an hour of real time, I guess. I had already spent a very short amount of time researching some keywords and phrases.

I've owned www.ebooksbusiness.com for years now. In fact, it was one of my first online ventures.

I based the site on something similar to The Total Resale package, but obviously mine was not as good as Michael's!

Anyway, I let the site go for a while, and have recently just converted it to a Wordpress blog, and will develop it further, adding in some ebooks with resale rights and private label rights.

Once is setup and listed again, I'll probably flip...

I've now installed the Flexibility Theme on my www.avoid-debt.com blog, and have submitted it to a few blog directories, to start getting traffic.

I've also hired a Warrior writer to write some articles for it, which should be added in the next week or so.

Adsense is added to every post.

Any adivce or tips for me to maximise this project?

I thought I would dabble in the domain / site flipping arena to see whether there is any money in it for me.

I've registered www.avoid-debt.com in light of the current economic climate. I thought this would be a good topic to cover.

So far, I've setup a basic Wordpress blog on there and added a couple of posts. Nothing more.

That was last week.

Google has now indexed the domain, so that's a great start. Now it's off to find a new theme...
