    Tuesdayblue,
Like all professional Desktop Publishing applications, In-Design can be a bit overwhelming to a new user. There's just so much that can be done with it.

But, first of all, you need to realize that it's NOT a word processor! First and foremost, In-Design is built to be a long document formatting system. In other words - Books.

One uses In-Design to create documents that include graphics along with words - in a far more precise manner than any word processor can accomplish. By using the power of paragraph and character 'Styles', you can write a 100-page book, decide that the font you're using needs to be changed, and make that change in less than 5-seconds across the entire document!

But, it's going to take considerably more than a single evening to get good at using In-Design.

Go to your local library and you're sure to find any number of In-Design "How-To" books laying around.

    Start there and begin practicing.

    Regards,
    --JR

    Hello --

Noticed you bought the "book in a day" WSO. I figured because of your signature I will get an honest answer :-).

Does her method of putting a book together require the information to already have been written?

Trying to determine whether to buy it.

    David
