Default My Business Mindset

If I hadn't used this mindset I probably would've quit ages ago.

I'd like to share this with my fellow warriors. One day when I was really beaten down and almost quit I saw this video featuring an inspiration speaker and he said that the worst time to quit is just when you are about to do so. That really hit me hard!

And you know what?

I didn't quit!
I pushed harder and I didn't see the results the next day, but I kept pushing and pushing until I got something out, I'm still squeezing this giant we all know as IM, and I haven't achieved my goals yet... but I'm gona keep pushing and just when I'm about to quit is when I give that extra push and I get the results.

Hope it helped.

Peristency is great when you make it work for you! Thanks for sharing your mindset.

I have on several occasions been tempted to quit a project because I have been struck by doubt, but I know I will never succeed if I keep on quitting.

Great words of wisdom. Never quit (sometimes we have to make changes, take another path etc). Hang in there.

A person can hear the determination in your statement.
It's great to have post like yours in the forum. Thanks!

One question? you say u have been going at it for years
have you written out a plan.

It works wonders when you have a written outline or
blueprint to go back to tweak and improve on,
rather than just your blood sweat and tears.

Hi aneel90,

Go read the book by Seth Godin, The Dip. In the book it talks about the subject of quitting and the ideas are fascinating. Do check it out.

Cheers,
Vincent

That's exactly what I'm doing too. Sometimes there are good days and sometimes there are bad days but what else can I do but keep on pushing? I keep on thinking, what will I do if I quit? Nothing or most likely I'd be jumping jobs again. So I should just stay put and push

Great thread indeed!though it is difficult to be persistent on the face of adversity but there is also no alternative to it except life time failure ,regret and frustration.

Great post you got there! I do have the same mindset as yours. If people only start doing something about their situation as opposed to just giving up, then this world will be a much better place for all of us. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Yves!

And yes I am planning something similar to your suggestion, maybe in the near future I may come up with something.

Thank you very much for your post. I'm currently in the same position as you & I made up my mind just like you have. I have one of my favorite quotes to share with you here...
