It's always great to stop to think about our dreams. However, I'd rather call them goals. Dreams just seem like things that never come true. But goals need to be worked toward.

Anyway, my goals/dreams are:

1) To make 10k a month.
2) To support my family without my wife needing to work.
3) To retire by age 50.

(And my biggest dream/goal is to be a bestselling author of fiction. )

I'm looking forward to reading others' replies.

Nice post vorales!

To quit my dreaded J.O.B. which is killing me! All I want out of life is to stay home and focus and devote real quality time to IM. Can't seem to do that though because I am ALWAYS at work or doing things related to work for WAAAYY too many hours which leaves me totally drained and exhausted! Wish I could give up sleeping at night, then maybe I could devote the quality time that I need to. To realize my dream, I need a solution fast!

Cheers

The life is too short to fill all dreams money is never a priority for me but if I get every thing without money that money can buy... Then why some one would need it.

I have spent a life, when I recall today, full of joy and almost what ever I thaught I got... But the dreams of a man are never ending...

To begin:

To make enough cash to assist a very long term working holiday. ie. working in bars at ski resorts around the world, but being pretty loaded at the same time

In the end:

To make enough cash to support a fully mobile lifestyle, living wherever I want, whenever.

So like... 10k/month

I feel it's very important to keep a list, whether it be in your head or actually written down, of goals and dreams. If you don't know what you're working towards, then you won't be as passionate about your work. My personal list of dreams and goals is currently thus:

1. Be happy.
2. Make others happy.
3. Surround myself with positive, forward thinking people.
4. Be financially secure. (I have no target figure)
5. Write a screenplay that gets picked up.
6. Be able to retire by the age of 40.

I'm currently 22 so I have a way yet to work towards that last one, but I'd like to think I'm well on my way to checking off every item on that list.

Not have to worry about money. If I want to do something money shouldn't be the determining factor whether I can.

An important point about setting goals is to ensure you do not lump them all in together.

People should have:

1) Immediate goals. (i.e. I want to do this by Friday)
2) Medium term goals (i.e. I want to build this new revenue stream up to x within 4 months)
3) Long term goals (i.e. I want to earm $300,000 a year online and be financially free)

Then, you need to regularly revise them as you complete goals in your immediate to medium term category.

Otherwise getting from A to B is too hard if B is a million miles away. (For example, getting from ZERO to $300,000 per year earned online) The goal is too far away from your current situation. Its like trying to drive a car by reading a map rather than looking in front of you.

You can drive across a country at night time by seeing only 20ft in front of you. As long as you can see the next 20ft and know the direction, you can reach your goal destination. If you tried to see every turn to the eventual destination before setting off, you would fail and most likely give up.

This is why alot of people give up on achieving their goals. (And yes, goals is a MUCH better way to think of them than dreams. Goals are there to achieve)

I don't think anyone should never limit their goals. I know far too many people who have went from making zero dollars to $300,000 or more within one year.

I always say... reach for the stars. There's no limit on the amount of abundance and prosperity that can come your way.

Oh, my dream is to make $500,000 (or more) so I am free to help more people in need.

Christie Love, I completely agree!

My point is simply that you need to have all three types of goals and break them down to allow yourself to "see the way".

That doesnt mean that I am saying you should reside yourself to believing it will take your entire life/a long time to achieve your goals or that you should limit them.

If your goal is to make $1,000,000 within a year, you still will do well to break it up into, what I must do today/tomorrow, what I must to over the next month and what I want to achieve within the year.

Its a very successful way to ensure you meet your goals successfully time and time again.

Oh and, your dream, very admirable! Good luck in achieving it!

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here! This is my first post and this is a great topic to start with.

My dream :

First and foremost, to spread the message that wealth will automatically come to you when you devote yourself to a higher purpose.

"When you begin devoting your life to a purpose higher than yourself, you begin experiencing life on a level higher than you could have ever imagined!"

Having said that, I want to be friends with Oprah Winfrey and be on Oprah to spread this message.

I want to be friends with Tony Robbins and do a joint venture with him to spread this message.

And I want to make my first million within a year to give credibility to this message =)

P.S. Just a brief bio : I'm taking one year off school to run an online business full-time! I took Tony Robbins' advice and burnt the bridges behind me!

"When you begin devoting your life to a purpose higher than yourself, you begin experiencing life on a level higher than you could have ever imagined!"

"Money doesn't buy happiness, but it rents it." Isn't that true? When you have money you are happy.

1. Make 10K a month.
2. Provide a comfortable life for my family and give my kids anything they need while they are going through grade school and college.
3. Travel and take vacations with my family without a huge concern for money.
4. GIVE BACK. Give back to the people and organizations that have done so much to help me without expecting anything in return. Start an organization to help young people get started in computers and entrepreneurship.

My dreams include:
1. To own my time. That is not to be controlled by anyone or anything. Time to me is sacred and my property.
2. To have a stable income
3. To give away as much money as I can to charitable causes. Money should circulate - a wise saying said that which you give away you keep.

I love this earth that I call my home. It is the most beautiful creation that money could never buy. Of all the beautiful gifts we have water to me is the most special.

My ultimate dream is to become financially free (eliminate bad debt). Help out family members to enjoy a better quality of life. Also, start a foundation for young children to change the mindset to gain financial empowerment (more than life than the rat race).

I just want my business model to succeed, the amount of income would be nice but the tag of success even more so.

And after that I want to find a nice Chinese girl to marry when I have the time , I just like china and their culture ( except their government , that I can do without thankfully I am an American )

And um a sweet house right on lake erie shore line.

Hello everyone!
My name is Andrea and I wanted to say hello to all my new friends here. Today is my first day on the Warrior and no better than to start off with talking about my dreams. Since I was young had a love of animals. I found a book in my closet recently that asked, what I wanted to be when I grow up? I wrote Veterinarian. I have been a Vet Tech for past 5 years when I was recently let go. My dreams felt like they were flushed. My real dream (goal) is to make enough money to start an animal humane society in Florida. I can't think of No better way to spend my money then on a creature that never asked to be brought into this life just to be dumped on the street because there family has something more important things to do than take responsibility for there own actions. At 24yrs old I bought my own home and car which only makes me more determined in life. Anyone can get what they want in life but sometimes it takes time. Also want 100% of what everone else wrote here, and then some.

My dream is to put an end to terrorism, violence, immorality, poverty, craziness and all the horrors of this world, so that everyone may have the chance to live happily, having more than everything that they may need or desire.

I want to see everyone being a millionaire and living happily, without having to care about their survival, so that they may care about their spirit, and become artists, philosophers… people that feel, and people that think.

My dream is too big, but it cannot be smaller.

Its good to see lot of people have such optimistic goals, I really appreciate the courage and wish you a luck.

Following are my goals.

Short term goals (DEC 2009)
1) Reach $300 a day till DEC 2009
2) To attend next affiliate summit (January 2010) (As I live outside of USA it requires good amount of money)
3) Scaling my staff strength from 5 people to 10 people till DEC 2009
4) Finding more quality vendors and Affiliate networks (This is the ongoing stuff, so no dead line is there)

Long Term Goals (Up to 2015)
1) Increase my company strength to 100 people.
2) At least 100 quality products on chart to promote.
3) Launch some unique web based services which can generate recurring revenue. e.g. efax, rapidfax, epayroll software.
5) I have to find some angle investors for some of my unique and mind blowing project.
6) $20 million in revenue.

I had not shared my medium term goals because they changes quite often. I adjust my medium term goal according to current situation. So I can grab more and more opportunities and stay away from big debts or loses.

To at least earn enough so that I can continue to be a 'Stay At Home Mum' - im due to go back to my 'real' job LOL in 2 weeks and I'm dreading it. So that is my goal - just to earn a full time wage so I can stay at home with my little one.
