Default The Success Eater Revealed

All strugglers, mentor needers/wanters, listen up, because this is the biggest success eater known to man, and many of you may be suffering from it.

Now what I'm going to show you is well known but most people don't know much about it.

It is known as ADD (attention deficit disorder).

Now before anyone takes part in this test make sure that if the test turns out that you may be suffering from ADD, that you are to do something about it. (beware of the complications of medication)

Here is the test.

Psych Central - Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) Test

Here is how I overcame my score of 66.

The day I decided to take that test I knew that I was going to score high and I did, but what was most important was that before hand I knew of the medications used to treat it and didn't want to go down that route.

So looking back I remember a hypnosis tape I listened to for quitting smoking, it didn't work out for smoking but what I learned from it worked for this.

What it was that I learned from the hypnosis tape was that you can do anything you want to, and that to help achieve exactly what you want to do all you had to do was take an 8 second long breath and just comply with what you really want to do, and not what impulse was telling you to do.

My impulse with the fact that I most likely suffer from ADD was to avert myself from doing anything difficult.

So each time I even dared stop doing something important or difficult I took an 8 second breath and returned to it. (today this was a life saver when building Squidoo Lenses)

This was my way of helping myself overcome it without medication or even consulting a doctor as Im not much of a doctor person unless I have cuts and bruises.

I really hope this helps some people get a feel for what might be eating up their successes and also I'm sorry if this all seems a little bit long winded, but I'm almost certain ADD is eating up a lot of peoples success, and I wanted to share it with you all to help you.

Before I go, anyone who takes part in the test, it would be great to show everyone what you score as it could help us all.

Best Wishes

Intepreneur.

I tried this and had a score of 22, which said I had no evidence of ADD. Thank goodness!!

ADD doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing.

If I recall correctly, Rich Schefren said many of his most successful coaching clients (IM gurus) often had something in common: ADD.

Oh it's not necessarily bad, but it is when you don't know about it and how it can hold you back, that is a problem.

That's why I wanted to show people the test to let them gauge from their results if it is within themselves that success is not manifesting.

For me ever since taking that test and truly understanding I really do have it, I have got a lot more done and earned much more money.

You can have Internet Marketing Attention Deficit Disorder (IMADD) without having ADD...

All people experience a lack of focus almost daily. We just need to figure ways to overcome it.

I scored 49. I've been on ADD meds before and remember feeling like I could concentrate a lot better... though one stupid side effect was always being thirsty >.<

How odd. I remember constantly drinking water when I was on Adderall. I wonder if I'd stuck with it, that side effect would've gone away..
