Yes colours do have an influence on not only mood, but they also impact on our buying behaviour. Theres lots of studies around on impact of colour on our psyche and also colour has the ability to increase our memory retention. Its a really fascinating topic.

Yes colors can effect mood, I read a study where a jail made all the inmates cloths pink something about non violence and study's backed up its effectiveness.

Purple for me, looks like my feminine side has finally been recognised. LOL

Must be why I can relate to women so well with my copy writing and coaching.

Yes it is definitely true, that's why it's said you shouldn't wear yellow if you're sick cos if you do, you'll feel worse. Like other people have said before me, I too, find pastel colors relaxing.

Hello guys!

Im so gladly thanks to the forum admin because of the interesting and informative thread and moreover,Tuscan colors fall into the very warm, cozy, and medium-saturated tones. Warm buttery yellow, deep blue, rusty orange, etc. Most of the colors you find in the fall season translate well into a Tuscan inspired room. I think that walls in a golden, buttery yellow would be lovely, and look great with natural wood, brown and black furniture.

I've heard red and black are "power colors" blue inspires trust.
I like the blues and greens. Water colors. They relax me.
I find Dayglo yellows green etc repellant.

Interesting that so many people here mentioned green. I've heard that green represents money, growth, and inspiration.

I've noticed the influence of colour long ago. But I have quite different assossiation.
Red - love
Yellow - smile, positive feelings
Orange - energy
Blue/Green - trust, relaxation

But most of all I like black colour. I don't even know what might this mean.

Thank you, Sheila. I was just looking for a chart about colors and psychology/mood.
Personally, my favorite color is plaid.
