Most people set out to succeed in their chosen endeavours but the dilemma is that these individuals are not really conscious of what to believe in order to be successful. Let's discuss what exactly do we need to believe in order to succeed.

You need to believe in yourself and in your product (whatever that is even if its your skills). One of the problems with IM now is that people spend all their time believing in the sales process and the money and don't care how crappy their product is.

My friend that is awesome point you've made there. Ultimately, it is the product that keeps the money coming. If the product is crappy it will certainly slow down and affect your credibility. Thanks for sharing.

This is an excellent topic. I've learned a lot the hard way about this.

I think the #1 important belief is in your self and in several ways. First,
to believe in your ability to succeed. Second, the belief that you deserve
to be successful; you deserve all the good things that come with success,
not only in business but in any other areas of life.

If you do not believe that you deserve it, then you'll only sabotage your own
efforts.

Yep and as an added benefit if you focus on product you won't be buying half a million WSOs and kits taking you off in too many different directions.

May I take a slightly different approach?

You need to start from the position that you
already ARE successful, not that you will be.

Start from the positive "I have" or "I am"
or "I own"... it's more powerful rather than
saying 'I will'

We each give off energy at 50,000 cells
per second, so if we give off more positive
energy we will be rewarded with that energy
back to us.

When you adopt this approach, the universe
will certainly reward you well - try it!

Most people want to be successfull other people belief they might be successfull but only when you know that success is as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow you will experience true success.

But besides beliefing your success never forget that you must take action and that the road to success hardly every is a straight one.

A very good book on this topic is "Think And Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, who has interviewed the most successful people in the world in order to determine the essential factors of success. In this book you will read, besides ideas already summed up in this threat, a step by step plan to success plus many stories of how people actually became successful against all odds.

I believe it is also important to keep our end goal in mind. There are times when we may encounter obstacles along the way, but when we keep our end goal in mind it helps us stay on track.

for me in on what I believe in in order to become successful is first of all always pray to God in the morning each day when you wake up to give you strength in order to achieve the difficult challenges that you will be facing each day. Reflect and meditate on what you will do each day. And lastly believe in your self that you can do it and you will personally see yourself very successful.

I just got out of a 5 day workshop that dealt with succeeding in life...there are lots of things you need to do in order to be successful.. first you have to keep moving forward..always! and when you encounter obstacles then find a way around them..or over them!..never give up!..keep pushing yourself further and further.. you need to be committed and write down all your goals and follow through..okay that is just a small list but those are probably the most important!.. if you believe it..you can achieve it! go for it! -Mike Linley

I also believe that you have to "believe" and expect that you can do it (whatever that is). Because any other subconscious and non supportive beliefs( like I am not worthy of success etc.) will cancel out any chances of being becoming and staying successful.

In my experience, it's not what you are thinking, it's what you are picturing in your mind that will show up as the results in your life.

In other words, if you look at "rich" pictures in your mind, then you will have rich results. And vice versa.

I don't want to sound "Zen" or anything because I am definetly not.
Success is a state of being, and therefore it is an action.

If you want to be successful, the first thing you must do is define success for yourself.

Every persons definition of success is different.

Success also requires action. Have you ever seen a successful individual who does nothing? Not very likely.

The actions you take must be geared towards the success you wish to achieve. You must believe in these actions accomplishing your goals, or you are just wasting your time.

If your actions are successful this will build belief in yourself, which will in turn motivate you to take more action, which will lead to more success. It is a cycle that continually builds upon itself.

There are many things that we need to be come successful. I see alot of people in general putting alot of emphasis on "Why". Why is important yes, But You should also focus on HOW! It goes back to who/What/when/where/why/how. Ill go into greater detail

Who: Who are you doing this for?
What: What are you going to do to make it happen? What do you really want out of it?
When: When are you going to start? If your answer is next week, Your probably not going to get it done.
Where: Where do you need to be to make things happen for you? It could be at home, Work, Supermarket whatever...
Why: Why do you want to be come successful at this? A good why makes the difference between success and failure however, it fails if you dont have the....
How: How are you going to make this happen? What knowledge do you have to have in order to make this dream of yours come true?

Thats personally what i did for myself and it has helped me more than simply having a "why"

i believe that success has a step by step process. Meaning you can't be successful by just a blink of an eye. It's a step by step process where in you need to believe on yourself and work hard in order to reach your goal. Once you reached your goal it would be more fulfilling when you know that you overcome all the hardships that blocks your way before reaching that goal.

I also believe that you have to "believe" and expect that you can do it (whatever that is). Because any other subconscious and non supportive beliefs( like I am not worthy of success etc.) will cancel out any chances of being becoming and staying successful. In my experience, it's not what you are thinking, it's what you are picturing in your mind that will show up as the results in your life. In other words, if you look at "rich" pictures in your mind, then you will have rich results. And vice versa.

The general opinion seems to be that you must believe in yourself, which I think is the sort of advice that you'd give to others. But do we really walk our talk as well as giving this advice? Actions speak louder than words - if we really believe in ourselves are we actually living it as well as telling others what's best?

I don't want to sound "Zen" or anything because I am definetly not. Success is a state of being, and therefore it is an action. If you want to be successful, the first thing you must do is define success for yourself. Every persons definition of success is different. Success also requires action. Have you ever seen a successful individual who does nothing? Not very likely. The actions you take must be geared towards the success you wish to achieve. You must believe in these actions accomplishing your goals, or you are just wasting your time. If your actions are successful this will build belief in yourself, which will in turn motivate you to take more action, which will lead to more success.
