I would like to share a personal affirmation that I read daily, maybe it will resonate with someone. It is from one of my mentors, Mr. Max Steingart. Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. When you dare to face the things that scare you, you open the door to freedom. Most of your obstacles will melt away, if, instead of cowering before them or procrastinating about dealing with them, you make up your mind to walk boldly through them. Don't be afraid to take the steps you need to take to make those positive changes in your life. To fight fear, you must act. Waiting, putting off, or postponing only increases fear. If you understood enough, you would never be afraid. ![]() Copyright 2008 Free Daily Motivation In Your Inbox Each Morning Reproduce freely but maintain Copyright notice. Very Happy |

Let me explain your mind cannot process a negative if I tell you don't spill the milk. You have to think about not spilling the milk in order to not spill the milk and whatever we visualize comes about. The reasoning behind your affirmations is good to notice at first but if you want to have something in your mind that sticks then have it positive and focus on that so you are thinking of that image those words create. E.g. Think of the end Result. I am taking action, I am consitantly and persistantly moving toward ...... I am so happy and grateful now that I have .... etc etc I hope this has helped anyone remember think of the end result and have words that create a picture full of emotion - Thinking and acting | |

Fear, to me, is a lack of confidence and ability to overcome adversity. When facing the birth of my first child I did not know what to expect and the pain was horrendous. There was no fear however until I saw all the shining instruments laid out on a tray on the side table. The knives, forceps, and other things raised an element of feat because it suddenly dawned on me that in order to use those I would have to be cut. My way through it was to transport myself to a future time and that this moment would soon be over and I would be saying 'fancy that, that happened 12 months ago." Sure enough before the day was out I had my son and before I could remember the pain he was 12 months old. |

I think that was a good post and as Success Galore said, doing the very thing you fear is the solution to all problems. Fear is really a lack of confidence. If you notice whenever you challenge a fear and come through as is expected you always look back and wonder why there was any fear in the first place and you now feel motivated to take a stand each time you are fearful of any situation. |

For a long time, I couldn't figure out why I procrastinate so much, and get very little done. I have a lot of knowledge but never seem to finish a project. I have good money making ideas but never make any money, because I never get them to market. I have always denied that fear played any role at all in my situation, I tried to analyze myself and discover what I could be afraid of, success? failure. ?? But I now believe that there is fear lurking in my mind somewhere, I still don't know what it is that I'm fearful of, but I will repeat this affirmation at least twice a day with hope and expectation that I will conquer whatever is holding me back. Thank you |
