So, I meditated for 10 years and looking back - I see that nothing really changed. Life quality is the same. Nothing improved, nothing really changed.
Why?

Hi,
I'm sure that meditation can have positive results but I don't believe that training yourself to think in one particular way is going to make you a fantastic person.
Depending on how much life experience you already have, I dont see how sitting around just thinking about what you've already done or what you're going to do next is all that great.
Maybe it's worthwhile if you're all mixed up but having other people to interact with and express a different point of view can give you far greater benefits in my experience.
I think you can learn more about yourself by doing something and learning from the experiences rather than just sitting around staring into space while your mind tries to figure out the meaning of life.

Well, sometimes we need to stop and meditate. For me meditation is just some quiet time for myself. A time to think things over but not over thinking. I need it in order to make myself understand the purpose of the things that I am encountering and learn from it.

Meditation is something I have to get consistent with. I think visualization is the key.

I don't know if any of you have seen the secret but tony robbins was analyzing it and said while everything in it is true:

Believing, visualization, law of attraction

He also said as John Demartini said paraphrased "you will have to work your butt off for what you want"

But the point is I think if you work hard and keep sight you will get where you want to go

Meditation allows the mind to quieten and focus on situations or problems more deeply.

It also allows for the flow of the creative ether to pass into the sub conscious mind of human then it is processed as a chemical reaction in the brain as such becomes a real living 'thing' as in a meterial object to become manifested in the world.

From thought > possibility > chemical > material = realisation

Meditation is 'extended periods of concentration'
If you are doing it correctly, obviously your concentration abilities improve. As this improves, your insight is enhanced and your awareness will expand at a faster rate. If you aren't experiencing changes, then you are not doing it properly or you simply need to do it for longer periods. Changes are most noticeable in the first 6-12 months.

Meditation also frees you from old behavioral patterns by becoming less identified with your behaviors
