Thanks for posting this! I love the TED presentations and had not yet seen this one. Definitely one for the bookmarks as I like to watch these things 4 or 5 times so I can digest it. Its one thing to understand it consciously...a whole different game to apply it to behavior! |

Wow, that video was impressive, very eye-opening! I am a big fan of TED Talks but I hadn't seen this one, thanks for posting. As others have said, the Tony Robbins and Jill Bolte Taylor's talks are also really good as well as Seth Godin's.

It is an eye opener to most businesses that still believe in rewards and punishment. I have experienced such situation when tasks are being performed for a certain incentive and I can really attest that the output of such task is not so good compared to a task performed for a certain purpose and self motivation.
