I started surfing after getting online and working full-time at
my computer.

Those kind of sports are just in my blood to begin with (X-games)
but surfing has really helped my IM career in so many ways.

Being at the computer for 10+ hours a day can really take its toll
on both the nervous system and the brain, as well as the muscles
all over.

When my eyes are burning and my body is stiff from working online,
there is nothing like diving into the deep blue sea and feeling that
cold splash of refreshing mother earth wash away all of my stress.

And catching a few good waves just sets me up for another 5-6
hours of work with a feel of ease.

If you don't surf, no problem - pick something outdoors that you
enjoy.

It's not only fun, but will make you more money, while keeping you
healthy, refreshed and sharp.

It's amazing how doing something like that can totally refresh you. I also think that you should take shorter breaks every few hours to refresh.

On a sidenote--I really like the X-Games type of sports too and its rubbing off on my daughter. Some of her immediate goals include riding a quad, a snowmobile and to go ziplining through a jungle canopy...kids these days.

I think it is something that I actually enjoy too. I am just so amazed by how my brain get all the important information when I surf. The feeling of having to enjoy and without you knowing it gives so much learning that are really helpful in making money. Great post Xfactor. I agree with you. I don't surf, I live about 35 miles from the sea. Instead I put my two dogs in the back of my car drive a couple of miles or so. Park up and then we go walking in the countryside. I live in the South East of England in an place designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Like surfing it is physical exercise (very hilly) it blows the cobwebs out psychologically.

some extra cash from the internet isn't as hard as it may seem. Getting extra money from the internet isn't hard to do. To do so, you just need to understand how the internet works and people think.

The internet is all about people wanting information. People want to know how to fix their problem. Generating an income from the internet is as simple as helping people find what they need. You just need to deliver the kind of info they are looking for. If you can give them useful information about their issue or problem, people are more than happy to pay you for it. That is the great thing about the internet. People helping people.

To give people what they need to fix a problem and generate an extra source of money, you need to be easy for people to find. Out of all the places on the web, the majority of people use Google when searching for answers to problems. More than 90% of people who buy from you find you with Google. They find you on Google without you spending a single dollar and since you paid nothing on advertising, you make nothing but pure profit.

Want to make money surfing the internet? If you really want to make some money online, the good news is it isn't rocket science. People go on the internet for knowledge and to make money you just need to give people what they are looking for.

Heck, any kind of break works for refreshing your mind. When I take a break, I like to hit Facebook, or recently, pop open my DS and play a game. (Bowser's Inside Story rules~) Though I would like to find a real good, physical activity to take part in. In the future I'd like to pick up martial arts again. I did a year or two of Taekwondo back in middle school and I'd love to get back to it.

Absolutely! I just got outa surf a few hours ago! A NW swell peaked at 25' today (Hawaiian backside) with some monster faces.

Surfing is pretty much the only thing to do up here on the Kauai N shore -- and I'm def not complaining!
