Hi recently attend the Landmark Forum and I personally found it amazing.

Anyone has ever attended one of their seminar or training?

I haven't been to Landmark, but I have been to something similar and partially staffed by former Landmark facilitators. It was a great event.

I have completed the full Landmark Curriculum.

There's a reason why thousands and thousands of people all over the world do so much work, giving so much of their time freely, in order to bring you the Landmark Forum. There are no free toasters here! Just an education that people get so much benefit from they want others to get it too.

In my opinion, it is the best education you can buy. By the end of the curriculum you will find yourself to be a person you love and respect, a person who is of value to your community and a person who knows how to get results simply because you say so.

Enthralling, Invaluable, Transformational.

If you haven't already done so, book yourself into one of the free Special Introductions to the Landmark Forum in the company of a Landmark Forum leader. Go there and see what you think ...

All the best

from Sam

Great testimonials, do you start with a specific course/program and work your way up from there?

I used to be a Landmark Forum Introduction Leader and I guess I am biased but I can tell you that aftert the 3 & half days you will not be the same person, but be warned it may not be the most enjoyable ride getting there.

@lifeofyourdreams - To answer your question it starts off with a free introduction night which runs for about 3 hours to give you a taste of what to expect. You then will be invited to enrol in the first program of the curriculum called "The Landmark Forum'. It runs for three & half days starting on a Friday - Sunday and a half day Monday evening sometimes called a graduation or completion ceremony.

There is also an Advanced Course plus many other courses designed to continue the journey you began in The Landmark Forum.

Visit LandmarkEducation.com for more info.

I've avoided Landmark "Education" courses because most online sites say its cult-like.
Almost sounds like Scientology...

What do the Advanced Courses cost?

Yeah, I've heard similar but that doesn't concern me.

What I'm most curious about is are the 3 days worth it for someone who has no emotional baggage, no grudges, no issues with their past and is overall very confident and excited with who they are.

Hopefully I don't come across as arrogant b/c I definitely consider myself a student and I love learning... But at the same time I place a very high value on my time and I'm not sure if I want to spend it watching people address their personal issues and emotional baggage for 3 days.

To those who have attended... what is the biggest thing that you have gained from the landmark forum? If possible, please encapsulate it in one sentence.

I'm definitely interested

It's more a transformational experience than educational. It's not based on learning more but discovering the hidden string that rules your life without you being aware and getting back your power for more enjoyment and freedom.

It would be a nice investment to improve oneself. I've attended one of its course and it is very helpful. I think it can give a great introduction to people who are taking a step forward to higher level towards success.

To add to my above comment - What I have seen over several years of working with Landmark's programs is that the people with the least 'emotional baggage' simply jump forward faster, while those with 'issues' will work their way through them using the methods presented in the Landmark Forum (LF). With sometimes seemingly miraculous speed, major issues literally transform and disappear, for ever, in moments, where typically analysts and therapists would take 6 months or more to achieve the same result.
Landmark is in 22 countries and 6 languages. The millionth participant took the Landmark Forum about 18 months ago now. The organisation, to my knowledge, has never paid for media advertising. All the people who enrol into the course do so following a personal invitation or referral. No one is ever on any kind of commission. The directors have never taken any bonus or other hand outs as it remains a non-profit making organization, preferring instead to keep the course price right down than build up profits.
There is no 'cult of personality' with Landmark. Indeed all the trainers actively discourage being placed on any kind of pedestal. A 'cult' typically is something that tends to take away your freedom. This weeked educational course in most if not all cases, will increase the level of freedom with which you experience life.
People register having been enrolled by friends and colleagues mostly out of who that person is being after they have taken the course. People sense something about them and want to know more.
I had a party once and a friend was able to point to all the LF graduates in the room (about a third of the room) even though she had not herself done the course. In my experience, there is often a lightness and relaxed sense of certainty about life with LF graduates.
The best way of gauging whether LF is for you, I suggest, is to call them up and have a chat with someone in your nearest local centre. You will find the address and phone number on the site landmarkeducation.com. Whoever you talk to almost certainly will not try to 'sell' you the Landmark Forum. You know what is best for you. You will be given the opportunity to choose if it is for you. It is important to Landmark Education that you not only get the opportunity to choose, but also that you are satisfied with the process that led to your choice.
It's good to talk, so give them a call!

I had the chance to sit in on a session. It was rock-solid.

These have been some excellent testimonials, thank you everybody.

I am curious to know if anyone has been to a similar type of course with either Tony Robbins or T Harv Eker, I know both of them have courses that seem similar to some of the landmark courses. I know both Tony and Harv have "transformation" courses/classes and am just curious to know peoples experiences.

Just because something is cult-like does not mean that you should avoid it because it has some negative aspects to it after all, EVERYTHING has negative aspects to it

I have done something very similar to Landmark before.

It is a life changing experience which believe it or not removes the "limitations" put in place by the ego. It has to be experienced to be believed

I found that many of the primary elements of a cult are the things that friends and corporate HR departments try to force on you.

* Conform to the will of the group

* Worry more about what others think than what you think

and so on

I found the exact opposite in this environment.

There are people out there who would question if the sky is blue just because one of these programs says it is. Contrarians by nature. They'll seek to insult anything that doesn't conform to their view of the world. I learned long before going through this program that my life is better off leaving these people in the dust.
