OMG! Even with the Avalung not fully in his mouth, it may have saved him. Add to that an avalance beacon so they could find him quickly, and he will ski another day. Thanks for the reminder as to why at my age I stay on groomed cruzers. Wow! :-Don |

Hi Don, I hope it gets out as an avalanche training film - reading through the post comments, there are already safety training organizations asking to use the clip. He's only lucky guy - the clip made me think of 'spiritual rebirth', especially when his 'yelps of joy' at hearing the rescuers' voices ended up with both them and the blue sky, breaking through. |
