Just some motivation for Newbies! My blog makes $700, puts 500 people in my email list!

Hey everyone

For all you Newbies struggling out there, I just want to share with you some of the success I have recently achieved in internet marketing.

There may be some of you that have been following my story, but after 8 years toying around I can finally say that money CAN be made online.

Over the last three months I have made nearly $700, I have an email list of 500 in the IM Niche, and I have driven thousands of targeted visitors to my blog.

And you know what? I have not even tried to sell to people, all I have been doing is writing blog posts of value and helping people.

By christmas I am hoping to have built my email list to a 1000, and doubled my income, I can do this if I keep taking action and following a proven system.

Anyone can do this but you have to work hard, I have three children one a baby plus I work a 51 hour week. But I work my business around all this, and its great to start seeing results.

I am also in the process of producing my first ebook, which is basically a story of what I have done online and where I am going to go. It is designed for the total Newbie to internet marketing and I just hope it will give them some motivation.

Please if you are thinking about trying to succeed online you have to know that it does take hard work, and it will take time. But if you just keep pushing forward, keep taking action you WILL see results.

The key here is that when you are building a list, provide value, build a relationship as if each person on your list is your buddy you are trying to help out...even if your list is 50k strong.

When you provide value as a first purpose, your list WILL buy from you and listen to you. Dont just hard sell your list.

Think about your list a a partnership, you provide value to your list, and they in response listen to you, believe you, and ultimately buy from you. If you think about your list as a bunch of transactions, you may have a large list, but not a sustainable one.

Ive seen plenty of people with lists of 500 destroy (in terms of sales) people with lists of 20,000. That says something

Great stuff man, cheers to your success! Keep on that system, you've definitely found a keeper.

The money is always in the list as they say, but the list is in the relationship between you and your readers.

I myself have recently been collecting YouTube friends for my online marketing efforts. I figure that through YouTube, with quality content, I could do a great deal of marketing on autopilot. I've got close to 11,000 friends now and I've seen 130 views on my most recent video in 3 weeks, so it's still slow but it's a TOTALLY informative, (kinda bland) video about My Software Business. All that was done without marketing as well, so, if I built backlinks I'm sure it could do better too!

The get rich quick schemes are fine for those who believe them, but I think internet marketing is just like all other kinds of marketing: build relationships with people, give more value than expected, follow up with everyone and keep a positive outlook that you share with others. Not everyone will buy, but over time you will hit a level of success that is far more than you dreamed of.
