Default The Law of Attraction at Work, what do you think?

Hi all, this is quite a personal story and not about making money on line but how if you give out strong enough vibrations something does take over and help.

My son has a mental health issue ( due to indulgence with skunk) It is a sad story but that's life I guess.

I will be as brief as possible, he has been hospitalised twice had problems taking his medication and completely withdrawn into his own little world. In the UK the Medical system seems to be, stabilise and thats it.

I have been trying to find somewhere for him to go so he can start mixing and talking to people that have experienced his problems.

Right, so last Friday morning I went to do my usual visit, got him to bathe and smarten himself up and I checked his medication but something didn't seem right, 1 of the prescriptions was well out of date, now I could check this with his Community Nurse on the phone but for some reason Ryan decided he wanted to go into Town.1st Moment.

As we were going into Town I might as well put a business post card in the newsagents window. I never go to this part of town. 2cnd moment

Now where the newsagents is just around the corner is Ryan's Mental Health Centre so I said " we might as well pop round there Ryan and check this medication issue" 3rd Moment

We go in and sit down and my eyes are drawn to all the pamphlets on the wall, but 1 catches my eye "You Are Not Alone" I go towards it and take it.

There is a charity just round the corner from Ryan that has drop in facilities for people that have mental health issues, they provide support, outings etc. Just what I need to help Ryan, the answer I have been looking for.

I took him there for the first time yesterday evening, he actually smiled a couple of times while we was there.

I believe that my vibrations and thoughts I put out to the universe were so strong that all other thoughts were put to one side, plus I was even going to sleep thinking about Ryan and how I was going to help him. So even subconciously my thoughts were being put out into the universe.

Was that the Law of Attraction in Action?

sorry for the long post.

Thanks for reading,
Michael

Absolutely.

That can definitely be classified as "The Law Of Attraction." Supposing we're using the definition: "You attract from the outside what you resonate with on the outside." And: "You attract what you give your attention, energy, and focus to."

Now you understand the definition of "The Law Of Attraction" you can see that by concentrating on your son—and consciously how to help him—you "attracted" something that's congruent with your thoughts. Had you been thinking differently then perhaps something else would have happened that day. (Instead of you finding the charity.) So congratulations for successfully using "The Law Of Attraction."

Coincidently, I've had mental health problems (also partly because of cannabis) and have been part of The Mental Health System for a number of years. And, I may be launching a personal development blog that will mostly help people with schizophrenia. However, the exercises and lessons will be beneficial for people with any mental health problem. Providing I get the green light, I'll be launching in a month.

Until then, if you have any questions or concerns then feel free to contact me anytime you want and I'll do by best to help you. Because, after all, you probably attracted me into your lives as well. That or it's a wonderful coincidence.

Either way, we all win.

I can see how that story can illustrate LOA in action. BUT the takeaway here is that YOU took action. Too many LOA people wait passively for something to come to them but you had hunches and acted on them. Nice work.

I definitely know it was the law of attraction. The law of attraction works everytime, most people don't notice it. This time you were aware of it...

Action is a part of the law of attraction. I read The Secret and they don't talk much about action, but it sure is a part of it.

I've read the secret.. But it is harder to implement in reality to keep your emotions in control when things aren;t going smoothly

I know that is the hardest part to master...

But try to look at it this way. When things don't go smoothly getting frustrated is a choice. In every situation we get to choose how we want to react.

I believe there is no right or wrong situation. You make it a bad situation, when you choose to react with anger, frustration and vice versa.

The trick is also to switch the focus from 'bad things', to something that you're grateful for. That is the first step to a better life.

Our mind can trick us. Our mind can make us perceive things badly. It's like people who make a big deal out of things, to them it's the end of the world, while in reality the problem that they make seem 'huge' is not even that big, or not even a problem. So when they calm down they find out that they were stressing over nothing.

You know your life can change in an instant. With just a tweak of the mind, you are able to move mountains, you can even change the way you experience a situation.

Think about that. And have a nice day!

Interesting story Michael.
Yes, of course, it is law of attraction. It is all connected.
You thought of your problem and acted upon it.
And results came.

I`m glad you got his smile back.
Hope he`ll be better from now on.

A big thanks for all your comments.
The other strange thing that I didn't mention was that I hold a Public Carriage Office Licence, in the UK you need that to drive taxi's. It ran out in July, I had put in all the necessary papers for the renewal but they picked up what they see as a medical problem and they wanted clarification. My Doc was a bit puzzled by this because as far as he could see there was nothing wrong with me.
The upshot of all this was that I couldn't work, Now my income was gone BUT I now had more time to spend helping Ryan.
So a bad thing actually turned out to be a good thing.
And it will be worth all the money in the world if I could get Ryan back to somewhere near normality.

What a great story. I totally believe in the Law of Attraction, but attraction is nothing without action.

Look at Brad Sugars global coaching business "Action Coach". The name says it all - you have to take action and that's what you did.

Unfortunately, all the whingers out in our world may dream about stuff and take no action, so in their minds all of this is BS.

Law of Attraction is all about sending and those vibes being matched. I have been thinking about some of old friends from my past lately. I was wondering what they were doing in their lives. I also thought about the good times we have together. I was in a store the other day and I walked straight into one of my friends that I have not seen in over 12 years. He got me in contact with a few others that I had not seen in the same amount of time. I now have a few of my friends back in my life in from that one meeting.
