So I got into this discussion with my long time friend about the various sources of antioxidants and their effectiveness.
She is very much against non-natural sources, like antioxidant supplements, and claims that the berries -- blueberries, wild berries, strawberries , raspberries have the best reliable source of antioxidants. So what are your best sources of antioxidants? |

Fruits (all berries), spinach, onions and carrots are rich sources of antioxidants.

There is evidence to support the thesis that "super-doses"
of anti-oxidants aren't actually that good for you. That means that MLM products and others promising very-high levels of antioxidants won't help your health and may hurt it in the long term. Getting a diet that runs to 80% or more fresh fruits, vegetables, and grains (if you do well with them) tends to provide quite a lot of antioxidants. If you want to feel truly vibrant and healthy reduce or eliminate hybridized starch-foods from your diet periodically, working, if you can, towards permanent reduction of starchy hybrids from the diet. Starchy hybrids are: commercial bananas, wheat, corn, potatoes. I know this is kind of hard to believe that a diet eliminating these "staple" foods would lead to vibrant health, but it can. Those starches mess with your blood-sugar and also make people fat. |

Acai is apparently chalk full of antioxidants, but as all of you know, be careful where you get it from because a lot of the products are rip offs and of course many of the trials are ridiculous rebills.
Pretty sure the actual berry is awesome though! |

Yes I love acai berry ...I take it myself and sell it as an affiliate of a reputable supplement company.
