I just spent $3000 with a guy I've never spoken to

I love it when people ask me if they can sell things over the internet without ever talking to the person in person or over the phone.

This guy just got me to cough up $3000 for training. Here's how he did it to me:

Happens with me all the time. I have hundreds of clients, around the world. I've spoken on the phone to maybe 10 of them in 10 years and have only met 2 in person. The Internet is truly a wondrous place.

Didn't watch the video at all. I was just commenting that it's not unusual for people to spend a large amount of money without meeting or even communicating directly with the seller.

Those types of performers put on a great show, I've seen at least 4, and they are fond memories.

Very interesting Tim. Solid lessons in the power of positioning, credibility and even up-selling effectively by adding value so tangible it's virtually impossible to say no.

I also liked your teaser at the end about how he "screwed it up". Curious to know about how that went down.

Thats how I met my partner seven years back. He gave me a project worth $4200. Later in due course of time, we started doing business together. In six years of business, we did more than 1.5 Mil in total, however we haven't met yet.

Sounds to me like this guy doesn't normally do spots like this. If you are saying the deal almost went south, sounds like he tried asking for more money when you said 'ok' to the 3k, correct?

I have many clients that I have never met or spoken too in years and they pay me regularly.

Some of them have paid me thousand of dollars over the years and I would not know them on the street if we passed by.
