Default Helen Keller- The first warrior

I've been seeing a lot of "I'm quitting" threads so I thought I would do my part to spread a little inspiration on a Sunday morning.

Hellen Keller was born blind and deaf. Her parents did not know what to do and the situation seemed to get progressively worse until they found a truly innovative teacher who taught the young girl to 'feel' sign language from her hands.

Keller blossomed under the tutelage of this very patient, kind, and obviously creative, teacher. When Keller was denied a chance at admission to a college, she wrote to the admissions department that although she knew she was up against incredible odds,

"a true soldier does not admit defeat before the battle."

If you feel like giving up, regroup, re-organize, re-strategize, and execute with precision.

If a blind, deaf woman can do maintain this attitude against her own incredible odds, so can you.

Hope that gives some 'oomph' to those who need it right now.

Dani

Nice post. Thank you. This was an inspiration for me to read as it makes some of my problems seem not so bad now compared to what Keller was up against.

Very nice Dani. Too many people like to make excuses for why they haven't, aren't, or won't get ahead in business or life. When you really examine stories like this (and there are many many many more) you will realize those excuses are rubbish.

I like to think that there are two groups of people when it comes to online marketing. Group one is people that get stuff done. They don't care whats in their way or what odds are stacked up against them. These people will come out winners. Maybe not the first or second time around, but eventually they will come out ahead.

The other group is the group of people who come up with ways why they cant do something. They make excuses or complain. Few of these people will succeed.

Notice that both groups will encounter the same obstacles online but the one will get ahead and the other probably not. So develop the right mindset and strive to be like group1.

The same can be applied to life more generally.

She is a warrior not really against society, but more against herself! But she fought her battle with her afflictions and won. She is exceptional and unlike many, many other people who are in a much better situation then her, but end up failing at everything that they do.

I always tell myself that with a lot of hope, motivation, confidence, and dreaming, anyone can do anything.

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." -Helen Keller

Hellen Keller is motivation, if you read her "Three days to see" it will fill your life with colors even its written by a blind writter.

We could never learn to be brave and patient, if there were only joy in the world.

Amazing Post

Sometimes when times get hard and you feel like quitting, it's really not as hard compared to those who have no choice but to work hard as Helen Keller did.

Thanks for the Inspiration
