Hello warriors, From quite a few months i am trying to quit complaining all together i mean about anything in this world but some times i just cant resist complaining. I face this problem the most when my friends dont show up on time or dont call me as expected, now please dont think that i am a victim and i like to whine. I am a pretty happy go luck kind of guy but sometimes this feeling makes my head explode. Now the reason of writing this thread i want support from other warriors lets all commit to this habit. Please let me know which all warriors are desperate to change this habit so that we can all change ourselves for better also i would like to know has any fellow warriors succeeded in changing his complaining habit and how? |

Click on the link below for something that can help you to break your habit of complaining: A Free Complaint Free Purple Bracelet! Cheers, Steve PS: I've worn several of these bracelets out and have to start all over... oops.. there I go complaining again. In addition to the "Complaint Free World" book the book "Don't Bitch - Just Get Rich" can help you to reprogram your whining, bitching and complaining. |

In some dire situations, I'd ask myself if complaining will help improve things but most of the times does not. I have been improving though in handling this complaining syndrome.

I think that's a great idea. I recently saw Rick Thomas in Las Vegas and he gave a lecture about how every time you say something bad you take a little piece out of the person you said it to and so you should really say motivational things and do everyone a favor. I was very moved.

Whenever any of us complains what we will do is just mention it in this thread but i am not saying that you have to mention what happened just mention that i complained today or i complained about 3 things today. This will help us realize that are we really a complain freak? As many great people have said that the first step to change any habit is to realize that you have one.

Hmmm ... this is a great idea. However, at times we don't even realize that we're complaining. What happens in that case?

Focus on what you want, dont focus on the unwanted. What you focus on manifests. Complaints increase the problem. Best get in the habit of appericiation & self appreciation. Whenever you notice yourself getting into a negative flow, check your thought & think about the situation 180 degrees the opposite from a positive side. Its life changing. |

This is a really nice thread that you posted here. One thing that has helped me stop complaining was to accept the situation as it is, because the more resistance we put on it, the worst the situation becomes. Instead, always try your best to focus on a solution to the problems you may have.

In general, I think we should learn how to accept situations in life a bit more than we do. I don't think we should try to influence every single part of life but also learn to see where we actually make more damage when we interfere. I'm not talking about becoming a passive person that never takes action in anything, but rather become a skilled judge of when it's worth it or not. When I learned to practice more acceptance towards situations in life, I became a happier more easy going person and much of my unnecessary anxiety disappeared. That's how I did it and it worked for me, just my 2 cents :-) /Daniel |

This is a great challenge to take action on, no doubt. I've been mindful of this nonproductive state for some years. How did I go about changing it? First I had recognize it in myself and in all those I came in contact with. The most challenging aspect is not getting sucked in by friends, family or co-workers that start up. A few years a go a created a product on how focus on self. It's called The Power of Taking a Step. One the main steps is to stay in your own business. Listening ourselves is where the power is and where to begin. Won't Be Denied, CF- |

Hey warriors good to see everybody is working on improving. Just a nice phrase for everybody " I asked god for knowledge, he gave me problems to get experience from. I didn't get what i want but i got what i need" Now whenever i get something to complain about, i repeat the phrase in my mind and it makes me realize that it is a gift from god that will help me grow and get eventually what i want. Now by the grace of god i have started to get more moment of oneness with universe. Also i would like to mention that this week i tried sedona method and man it works like charm, it helps to let go almost any feeling I feel lighter after doing it, hope it helps |

Cool thread...another one that made me think. Years ago I realized I was in the habit of being much too critical of every little thing....at the time I thought I was just being observant but someone really did a good job of pointing it out to me and I realized how much energy I was wasting on that. I never considered myself as the guy who is a walking rain cloud but even if you notice every little thing you really do not have to comment on it all the time. |
