So many online marketers make the mistake of worrying too much about the product/s they are selling and the business opportunity without considering much on the importance of themselves and how they are portrayed to there prospects. The usual marketing system would be as follows - 1. Generate Traffic 2. Convert to Leads 3. Send those leads to their Product page. The way I run my internet home business is ones I have the Leads. I then send them to my Personal Website so my system would look like this. 1. Generate Traffic 2. Convert to Leads 3. Send Leads To My Personal Website. 4. Form Strong Relationships 5. Sell Product On your website you have the chance to allow your Leads/Prospects to get to know you and enable a relationship to be formed before even thinking about introducing them to your product. This helps in telling your story on how you got in to your online business. Also with the help of video you can use video blogging to educate them with different tutorials on your business thus showing them that you are an expert in your field. Once you have formed an on-going relationship it doesn’t matter what product comes or goes, you will always have a reliable prospect-based to sell to. The most important thing here to stress though, like any relationships it takes time and cannot be expected to happen overnight meaning you need to constantly update and provide valuable content to your website. Remember this; the majority of people will not buy your product until they are happy with whom they are buying from. |

There's an old saying that applies to every business however large or small (but especially applies to one-person businesses): "Everything comes from the top" So if you really value your customers so will your staff. If you're a one-person business you will communicate this quickly to your customers but the other side of the coin is that if making a quick buck is a higher priority to you than your customers, you will also communicate this pretty quickly too!
