Pursit of Happniess is a great movie, but Rocky IV is a big motivational movie for me. Maybe since I still have the tape since I was a young kid. Shows how persistence, desire, and dedication can help you overcome obstacles. Another movie I like a lot is 300. | |

Honey- She didn't let an idiot director make her lose herself and get caught up in the fame. She stayed true to what she was trying to accomplish. She ended up better than where she began becuase of it.

Rudy has moved into a tie for #1 with Pursuit of Happyness. This is the first time any movie has even been tied with Pursuit of Happyness. Personally, I am huge fan of both movies. Care to break the tie? Click here and vote The list of movies was originated from the Mind Warriors here at the Warrior Forum. Thanks again. I have truly enjoyed your movie suggestions (in fact our whole family enjoys them). |

American Beauty is my favorite, even though a lot of people wouldn't consider it very motivational because of the ending. Watching Lester take on the world always makes me want to get up and do something. |

The Concierge - starring Michael J Fox and Gabrielle Anwar (correct me if I'm wrong). It talks about how he saves up on tips, does favors for clients with a few kickbacks, and makes a proposal to build his own hotel, only to be screwed by a client consultant who has intentions of stealing the plans for himself. The love angle is tolerable and builds up the story towards the end when love conquers and the business dream was almost gone. And then the dream plan is mailed accidentally to a client that Michael helped with his wife and helps him achieve it. Lesson is that it helps to give 110% of your effort to service your clientele and you might hit the jackpot when you build your own successful business. And it also helps to know your network and avoid getting screwed by others trying to steal your own ideas. |

Absolutely - It's a Wonderful Life! But years ago, it was Rocky. And every Saturday - believe it or not -- when I watch my HGTV programs, I get up and start cleaning and organizing -- talk about motivational! Sometimes I even drive to Home Depot or the store and buy things to fix up my home! Those shows and coffee are what really kicks my butt! |

I think an Incredibly motivating movie for anyone trying to make something of themselves is "The Pursuit of Happiness". Chris Gardner is a guy who overcame so many challenges, kept going, and triumphed. It definitely took all the excuses away for me! |

In 1980 I was a young boy. I stayed home from school one day because I wasn't feeling well. While my mother was out I was bored so I turned on the TV and watched some of the Winter Olympics. The American hockey team was just taking the ice and about to play the Russians. Now, I've never been a hockey fan and really didn't understand the sport, especially at such a young age, but even I knew the Russians were unbeatable. Everyone knew it - everyone except the amateur American team. I watched anyway. What followed was one of the most remarkable acts of courage and determination I would ever see in sports as the Americans never let up and never allowed themselves to be intimidated by a better, quicker and more experienced team. They actually seemed to get stronger as the game ended with one of the greatest upsets in sports history. The movie "Miracle," which came out several years ago did an excellent job capturing that team's courage. The moment and the movie will be something I will never forget. |

Seabiscuit was probably one the most inspirational movies I've ever seen. The message I got was that anybody can win if they put their mind to it. Also, and don't laugh, but another favorite was The Incredibles. Even if you get old you haven't lost your power! I love how the old Super Heros were pulled out of retirement after being forced to remain incognito for years. |

I take inspiration and enlightenment from many movies - some of which are probably perceived by many people as being downright sad and depressing. In fact, this applies to everything in life. I'm fascinated by how things work, the possibilities of life, taking chances, risks, self-belief, manifestation, the "law of attraction", etc. Anyway, there's too much stuff to list entirely but a few films which spring to mind are: Field of Dreams The Color of Money Risky Business Cool Runnings The Edge There Will Be Blood The Worlds Fastest Indian I wouldn't say there's any particular film which I can attribute my success to specifically. But I do feel that I take something "more" from movies. When other people are walking ou out of that theater and merely thinking "good film", "boring film", I'm thinking of ways to relate what I've seen on-screen to my own life experiences. Wondering about the possibilities and opportunities open to us as people, that many others overlook or are oblivious to, and thinking about the pursuit of happiness, success and wealth. |

I really can't remember anything than "Pursuit of Happyness". I guess what make it much better than other movies is its real life story.
