Default your favorite personal development sites/lists?

Hey Mind Warriors,

I need to broaden my personal development/success exposure. Do you have any recommendations on which sites, blogs or newsletters I should check out?

Thanks,

Ryan

P.S. Already have Steve Pavlina in my RSS feed.

Hey here is a list of my favourite personal development blogs:
http://www.stevepavlina.com
http://www.positivityblog.com
http://www.pickthebrain.com
Zen Habits | Simple Productivity
http://www.lifehack.org/
Think Simple Now

These are more than enough to follow. Just beware of getting addicted! Don't just learn new cool stuff. Take action!!! The rule is always more action than learning! Stick with it and you would be ok! lol

p.s. Oh you need them just for marketing well I guess you already know these..

Mine also Steve Pavlina and I joined their forum too..
When you are looking for self development material, be focus on what you really want and take action immediately to avoid 'self development disease'.

This disease as explained by Dr Robert Anthony - the creator of Rich Mind Life Strategy usually happen to people who keep readings lots of motivation books but the things never improve them. Its because in their belief system, there are something wrong with you.

What I did before looking for self development material, check on my weaknesses and find how to improve, then repeat the same steps to improve for 21-30 days to install a new habit and after that I belief that I have totally remove the bad habit.

I subscribe to EarlyToRise.com, Michael Masterson

Very nice stuff they send out in their newsletters. A great read everytime I'm down.

Highly recommend it.

The following blog may not be entirely motivational...more towards copywriting.

Heard of Clayton Makepeace? Here's the link.

Go to his blog, and read only the post made by him. He got this wacky writing style in every of his post...sometimes relating to his life experiences and the lessons he learn.

Feels good everytime I read them.

My recommendation isn't so much a blog or newsletter, but I would recommend going to Youtube and searching for motivational speeches. It has proven very effective for me.
I especially like this one by Steve Jobs

Hope this helps!

A great talk by Steve Jobs. I'd previously read a transcript of his moving presentation. I didn't realize a video of it existed. Thanks for posting it. Inspiring!

The best advice here is to check out as many sites as you possibly can and find what and who best resonates with you! The internet is chock full of superb learning centers and mentors.

Don't just search the web for sites though, read, read, read!

There are some great books out there!

The best one to get started would have to be "The Magic of Thinking Big".

Final advice: Just start somewhere! Have fun!

How about giving me a try? I am very new to this whole thing. And I am no kind of guru at all. I do post anything that I find (by way of reading books and attending seminars) that helps me in my personal life.

And www.yoursuccessstore.com is quite awesome along with www.executivebooks.com. Both of these sites sell personal development books, cd's, etc.

Keep getting up each time you get knocked down . . . and eventually, the world will see that you will not quit and will go find someone else who will.

God bless.
