Default The Psychology of Achievement by Brian Tracey

I have been listening to a 6 DVD Course, The Psychology of Achievement by Brian Tracey. I would certainly recommend this product, especially to nubee's.

He explains in detail all the benefit's and results associated with his years of mentoring to the most successful companies and businessman in the world.

There are also practical excercises that if followed will certainly help with getting you in the right positive frame of mind to be successful, not only in business but in your general life as well.

It has certainly opened my eyes to why I have been stuck in a rut for too many years.

The one biggest most useful tip is about how writing down your goals and your reasons for wanting these goals and constantly updating this list helps your subconscious work on ways of achieving your goals.

A truly fascinating and helpful self help course.

Michael, I've read "Maximum Achievement" which is the paperback version of TPOA and I agree with you, it's a fantastic publication; one of my favourites.

Yes, this is a great program. Brian Tracy knows how to get inside your head and give you the ideas and action steps to get you going.

I highly recommend as well. I have it on audio tape which you probably can't buy anymore.

Actually it's also available on CDs now as a full course on ec.tv , I thought it was quite expensive as it's going for 59.95 in British Pounds (UK), but I do believe the content could be more than worth the money I'm going to spend on it, I have watched Brian Tracy on youtube and did some research and I found him very interesting and full of knowledge about the subjects he is teaching and hopefully I'm not wrong to invest my time and money on it.

I have read many books by Bryan Tracy and I think he is a good mentor. Two of his books that impressed me was Million Dollar Habbits and Create Your Own Future. That books are old but always good to read.

Yeah, I have The Psychology of Achievement as well. Excellent program. You may also want to check out the book Psycho Cybernetics, by Maxwell Maltz. It's a book mainly about the self-image and how it affects your success in life, as well as how you can change it. I think Brian Tracy's ideas on that subject were either directly or indirectly influenced by Maltz's work, as they're very similar.

Hi, Michael:

I absolutely agree with you: Brian Tracy is my favourite when it comes to
personal development, achievement and inspiration; and Brian's coaching
on the value and importance of written goals is effective and immediately
measurable for those who put it into practice.

I've been a fan of Brian Tracy for years and have many of his materials,
some of which I refer to almost on a daily basis. I like Brian's material so
much, earlier this year I began marketing it!

Check today's Web Bizz Blog post for some personal development insight.

Hi Guys,
I've been lucky enough to meet Brian Tracy a couple of times, and while I would never say that I truly know the man, he does seem to speak from the heart. He not only believes in what he teaches, but practices it also.

Brian Tracys stuff is really good. He's big on visualization to achieve your goals.

Visualization can be a tricky subject, so I thought I'd share with you a little gem of a book that gives a simple, effective, visualization method.

I don't often hear this guy mentioned, John Harricharan, he's the author of the little book called The Power Pause that describes this method (you can buy it at powerpause.com - I'm not an affiliate or anything like that).

In it he describes how to reboot your mind back to positive thoughts every time negative or depressing thoughts appear.

Negativity shuts you down from doing the right things, that's why being positive is so important. Because it's in doing the right things consistently that goals are achieved. Being positive gives impetus while negativity drains energy.

The Power Pause gives you 3 steps you can do in 3 minutes. Quick, easy, effective.

Basically this is how it works (I know he wouldn't mind my summarizing it here - he says it's his life mission to spread this good teaching):

1. Visualize a place of peace. This zones out the current noise around you. (I visualize vast plains in wild, untouched country).

2. Imagine what you would be BEING if you'd already achieved your goals. How you'd be feeling if you were already there. It's like beaming yourself into that future now. In effect becoming your dream. For me it's almost like how it is when you're dreaming - You wake up and you're like, "wow, that felt so real!"

3. Be thankful to God (or whoever your version of the creator is) for giving you your dream. Being thankful before something happens has a strange power to make it so. The secret is in the state of gratitude it puts you in.

When you do this the negatives vanish and you're able to get back to high level productivity again.

That's it! He says don't try to rationalize why it should or shouldn't work, just try it for 21 days to make it a habit and see what happens. It's only 3 minute pauses every so often, that's nothing in the big scheme of things.

I think the book is not very popular because of the style it's written in ... more of a story than a how to. But it's the easiest method I've found for focusing on positive, constructive thinking all the time.

I've been watching the ec.tv channel on Sky tv lately and I was just wondering if any has bought The Psychology of Achievement by Brian Tracey lately ???

At the moment it's being sold at £55.95 + £2.95 for pp . (£ = British pound)

I did a research and found out that this program has been around for a good while, and I am just wondering if it's exactly the same one the old one,

Has anyone got the both version of it ? the old one and the new one ?
if so
what is the difference or improvements on the new one ?

if the new one is the same as the old one then I can probably get a copy of a friend (or buy it at a very reasonable price of him lol ) then spending nearly £60 for it.

Can anyone list the contents of it ?,
like the Headings of each subject he teaches,

When I did a research about it, it was in 2 parts as a while package;
The Psychology of Achievement
The Psychology of Success

and I did listen a few samples of the old one and it was Not Brian Tracy talking on the samples, not sure who it was but it definetely Not Brian Tracy !

so has the new one got him on it or some-one else did the audio for him ?

is the new one the same as above that covers both parts ?
how many CD s are there in total in the package ?
How many hours in total is the program ?

when they are showing the intro about the program on the tv, they are not giving enough information about it.
I did send an e-mail to the ec channel about a month ago and asked all about these questions and got no answer whatsoever,

also what other programs by Brain Tracy would you reccomend as a follow up ?

I would really apreaciate it if any of you can help me out on this.

Thanks in advance.
