I feel that my biggest flaw is my poor organisational skills. You should the mess on my desk. ![]() If there's one thing you could immediately change about yourself what would that be? (nothing to do with physical appearance) |

I would have to say my lack of patience. I am trying to work on it but I am a born and bred New York City girl and patience does not come easy. Ever since I moved to laid-back Florida though, it's getting easier to work on it. |

Impatience for sure. When I get an idea or want to do (or buy) something, I want to go and do it right then. When I start something, I can't sleep until it's done. When I am going somewhere, I want to already have been there and back home. I have to remember that the journey is half the fun! |

My biggest flaw is thinking I have too many flaws. *Grin* Thanks for reminding me. I'd love to be able to say something clever like "I work too hard" but that wouldn't be true. In terms of running a business my biggest flaw would be procrastination and lack of focus. Actually I think I have many biggest flaws.

I just don't seem to have patience when doing things I'm not really into, which can be troublesome if it's work related. I'm also not too keen on being organized.. |

my biggest flaw in my personal life would be my social skills. I tend to come off as a very raw person, too open or too accepting. My biggest flaw in business would be over working myself, by jumping from one idea to the next. |

I often feel like I'm the poster child for ADHD. Work is no help; between phone calls and people asking questions I rarely can focus on something more than 5-10 minutes without interruption. Fortunately, I can delegate stuff at work. For my online endeavors, task lists and outsourcing have been a life saver for me. Additionally, I find I'm more productive by working in blocks at a rapid pace. It works for me.... |

People generally fall into two camps: those that 'move towards' and those that 'move away', e.g. some of us work toward the goal of having more money and some of us wait until we are broke before we move at all. When it comes to business I have to focus hard on the goal and move towards it because I know I can get easily distracted or bored. Seeing the whole journey to the goal is sometimes intimidating, but breaking it down into manageable steps is easier. I like to have lots of projects on the go at once - but wisdom tells me to focus on one at a time to completion, or none will get done. Best wishes Heatherv |

My biggest flaw??? Hmmm, would have to be lack of focus. I have LOTS of brilliant ideas but never seem to follow through on most of them because I become distracted by the next BIG idea |

My biggest flaw is the tendency to gravitate toward instant gratification. Michael Jordan probably sucked at basketball when he started, the greatest foot surgeons in the world probably trembled when they started. Because my mind has often been plagued with negativity, I go round "pushing the Pavlov button" to keep those thoughts at bay. |

My biggest flaw? Hmm, where do I start? I suppose its got to be my butterfly mind as I tend to flit from one thing to the next without exercising the discipline to complete one project unless I come up against a challenging deadline. Regards George |

My biggest flaw is time management. It is something I am working on and something my life coach jammed me up recently. I am learning to actually write out a daily schedule of my task, setting each task to a specific time and committing to it. (Although I didn't do it today lol). But the past few days it has really helped me out because I get distracted easily.

| Ha... exactly... my problem too. I did Tellman Knudson's quiz and found that I exhibit all the symptoms of ADD (the ones above). I would have signed up to his site but the monthly subscription was a little too high for my liking... If I were earning $2000 a month marketing I'd join without question.

Lack of disciplined focus on the things that get the job done - easily distracted by things I want to do, instead of things I should be doing.

I'm too much of a perfectionist - yes, it is a flaw. When I write articles or books I go through them over and over and over again. I don't submit until every single fact is check and double checked. As you might imagine, that tends to be counterproductive sometimes and I end up completing less work than I would otherwise. |

Settling for what I already have and not pushing myself to be better! I know I could be great but I am already comfortable with what I have so, I have no desire to push myself to be great. I guess you could call this laziness! |

Authenticity is a good thing Though there is a difference between being "authentic" and being easily moved; easily made to harken and REACT to situations - be they in relationships, business, etc.Authenticity keeps you at peace with yourself and - unbeknownst to you - gives you power over your environment. Being too guarded or, at the other extreme, too harkening and reactive to your environment takes away your power. | |

Mine is being so curious about lots of topics that, in the past, I have been easily distracted by new interests. Two of my favorite teachers taught me to acknowledge what I consider to be flaws and then learn how to turn them to an advantage rather than trying to fight my natural tendencies or beat myself up for being less than perfect. The late Thomas Leonard, one of the pioneers of the personal coaching industry used to say, "Endorse your worst weakness." He started out as a financial planner who was notoriously shy. He dreaded public speaking and making public presentations. In his field, at the time, that could have been a career ender. Instead of trying to teach himself to change, he intentionally sought out ways to deliver his services over the phone so he wouldn't have to speak in public. In the process, he helped to popularize the use of teleclasses and coaching by phone-an innovation that is still making lots of folks tons of money. Perhaps inside every "flaw" there's a new product, service or solution waiting to be born. |

Guess my biggest flaw is that I'm honest to a fault. The redeeming quality is that I know how to keep quiet most of the time, and how to be gentle when I have to be honest. For example, if a lady comes up with a huge flooopy hat full of garish colors and looking more like an umbrella than anything else, if I had to say something, I'd tell her I was "impressed with the vibrant colors in her hat". And honesty can be used to an advantage in copywriting - I will never knowingly lie to a prospect. That's just not fair. We copywriters have far too much power in our words to be mis-using it. Dot |

My biggest flaw for much of my past was being too hard on myself when I perceived that I had failed at a task/ relationship. I am proud to say that my rehabilitation has been going quite well. Prayer (and some effort) changes things!
