| What.. a "lost" Mike Dillard interview??? I know I'm a relative newbie to this forum, so please let me explain... About 8 months ago, I somehow managed to catch Mike's attention and got him to agree to an interview. He didn't know me from Adam, but I happened to catch him when he wasn't too busy, and, well, Mike's a nice guy. After all was said and done, I managed to get 57 minutes of some of the BEST material on mindset as it relates to online marketing success that I had ever heard... Unfortunately, shortly after I conducted the interview, I had some personal issues that took up most of my time and attention, and the interview sort of got "lost" on my hard drive... until recently. I was going to package the interview as part of a self-liquidating offer... But, in a recent conversation I had with one of my mentors, he convinced me that the best thing to do with this interview was to share it freely... (thanks Jared). And now I'm getting this interview out in the public eye, in order to share Mike's insights on the "success mindset" with the larger online marketing community. So, if you'd like to listen to the interview, just go to my blog and sign-up for my newsletter - you'll get the link and password in your email inbox after you confirm your email address: |

| I think I see what you're getting at... Still, I believe it's fair to ask for an email address in exchange for an interview that's worth a lot to people who are receptive to the message. Thanks for the feedback! |

| Thanks for the kind remark, tomcam. I'm not currently involved in any MLM companies (although I have been in the past), but I know Mike coaches a lot of people who are. Currently, however, I am working with a company called WMI, which follows a direct selling model that most closely resembles a two-tier affiliate program (you get commissions paid to you on your own sales, and from your first-tier customers). I like their products, and quite frankly in today's economy (with the mortgage and debt crisis) just about everyone can benefit from their services. The fact is though, the MLM and network marketing industries have some legit companies, and some crap companies. And, I've seen people make money with both... Unfortunately, the thing that pains people so much about MLM and network marketing is that so many people who get into it follow the old school approach, which basically involves deceiving people in order to get them to an "opportunity meeting". And why do they use those methods? Because the majority of industry is still stuck in the 1970s... Which brings me to why I admire what Mike is all about - he teaches marketing methods that would make any internet marketer proud (which is where I make all my money working from home right now - selling info products that have zero to do with MLM). His whole philosophy and all his products are based on the concept that there's a better way to do things... In fact, things I've learned from Mike have actually helped my info product and consulting business. Regardless of what your business model is, that audio interview is definitely worth a listen. |

I know Mike to be connected with some big players in IM. MLM is not MLM the way he approaches it. an email for an interview sounds like a fair deal to me... I'm on my way. BTW, here's a little suggestion for anybody in the marketing to the make money online niche... MLMers are a great crowd to market to. They have to be approached in a different way, but you can sell make money and IM products to them easier than to the general Internet Marketers. Peace Cameron |

Most of them are serious about their businesses, believe in their products, and really want to help people... but they struggle because they get crappy marketing advice from their companies. So, they are desperate (any DBO fans here?) to learn how to market! Kudos to you, Cameron, for figuring this out. Enjoy the interview! | |
