My wife and I committed to a 6-day per week exercise program. This is day 233 and we have not missed a day!

The fact that I could stick to anything that long has simply empowered me. And, truth be told, it has been quite easy.

If anyone is interested, I will tell you how to do it. (Please note that I am not selling diets or exercise plans or anything even remotely close.)

Regards,
Dave S.

That I'm still alive here in 2009.

No kidding. At my age, every morning my eyes open is a good day. "Woo Hoo! I'm not dead yet!"

I stepped up and worked at night when my husband was laid off. Then was real thankful when he signed new contracts and I could be back home again.

Still having everything I started with in 2008, and understanding that business is usually only bad between our ears.

Dave,

Sounds interesting. I lost 35 lbs. in 2008, but towards the end I kept gaining and losing the same 5lbs. Some good tips would be awesome, thanks.

Having enough sense to bail from bad relationships that were actually physically unhealthy...high blood pressure dropped like crazy once I got out.

Getting sacked! Sticking to MY dream and starting my own IM business. Not allowing partner or others dimish my dreams, goals, hopes and aspirations, no matter how hard they tried. Never listening to any negative talk about IM and always staying true to myself.

My proudest accomplishment for 2008 was beating my 2007 sales numbers. I'm a Financial Advisor/Stockbroker by day, and I never would have imagined beating my 2007 numbers during the worst year for the market/economy in modern history.

Quitting my job of ten years as the COO of a major company.

It was a difficult decision to make but the feeling of regret that I haven't been a perfect mother (as in not having spent much time with my son as he was growing up) helped me do it.

It actually feels like I've accomplished a lot in life. Today, I'm a very happy mom!!
