I do think we couldn't consider rich mean to have millions of money.It is just a luxurious life we may spend. but the important thing for us is:health and happiness.if we hav these,we should be rich...

Rich, when it comes to money, I would say is having more then enough..
Rich in life? That is having a family that loves you, friends that care about you and having inner pace, whatever that means to you

I never buy books with the word RICH in them, even if they have good infomration it's emberassing to buy. Looking liek a hack. I consider rich to be a person who has enough money to have what they need and some of what they want.

To me being rich is having enough passive income to not only have your basic needs and leisure activities met, but enough passive income to reinvest into your community or other charitable forms of distribution.

I believe true wealth carries great responsibility with it.

(which is why its sad the ultra rich don't give back as much as they could)

I wonder if those who quotes others are more or less likely to become wealthy, rich or reach their goals than those who think more for themselves.

Rich - for me, it means that i can afford myself what i want and when i want. That i dont have to work and i can basicly do what i want. And i can help my family,so they wouldnt have to work(at least not that much)

The guys that write their checks are wealthy.

to have an abundant supply of what ever resource you are describing, in terms of money, it simply means you have lots of money
people often make this mistake
they think that rich=happy
which isnt really the case

Being Rich to me equals time freedom- being able to do what I want when I want, without worrying about having to punch a clock.

Now, Don't get me wrong though I love having money in my bank account to do what I want to do whenever I want to do it.

There's no feeling like it. I'm not super rich but i am comfortable. I like to shop and I dont lkike to balance my bank account so money is definitely a prerequisent of being rich

It is one thing to be rich. Rich being one can afford all the things he enjoys to limits that surpass most others although it can run dry in time. It's another thing entirely to be wealthy. Wealthy affords one to be careless for more time than one has to spend.

My definition of 'rich' is, that I have enough money for my family and myself to live reasonably comfortable and still have plenty of money to share with others. I also want to give as much money as I can to animal welfare organizations. My goal is to be one of the main sponsors of the monkey sanctuary in the Netherlands, where I live.

I used to think rich and wealthy were the same, until recently.
A lot of money, was rich to me back then, because I associated money with riches.
If we are speaking of the monetary riches vs wealth thing here and not the spiritual then I think (this definition only pertains to me)...

rich is an amount of money someone has that allows them great amounts of personal freedom, whereas wealthy, to me, is the ability to create vast amounts of riches and build formidable assets from those riches.

eg...Warren Buffert and Bill Gates are Wealthy, where as our local TV stars are rich...
That's not as good a description as I could think of on the run, but that's what it seems/means to me!

For me, rich (financially speaking) is to be able to afford everything I need to lead a happy normal life. I would like to be able to follow my passions and to travel the world, without worrying about tomorrow. Of course, I would travel the world in a normal plane, not business class, and I wouldn't need any expensive yacht or 4 floors mansion, nor drinking wine which costs 4 figures.

I do not use the term rich. I use the term "economically independent" It means you do not need an employer to survive. That could mean you bring in $20K a year. Something like social security.

I just got back from a vacation in Fiji.

I had a conversation with a man there who worked part time at the resort.

I asked him, "Do you have a car?"

He chuckled and replied, "Oh, no sir. I have a wheelbarrow."

He expounded on that saying that he didn't need a car, in fact, he said he didn't really need a job either, and the only reason he was working was to save a little cash to visit relatives on a neighboring island.

Other than that, he said he didn't need any money to exist and be happy.

His village was surrounded by trees laden with tropical fruits, papaya, mangoes, jack fruits, avocados.

Local vegetables grew wild around his house offering fresh carbs and greens on a daily basis.

Coconut palms laden with varieties of coconuts dotted the landscape, and he fished every evening catching more fish than he could eat--so he shares it with the rest of the village.

Explaining all this, he said to me with a smile from ear to ear, "We Fijians are blessed with abundant food all around us, and people come from all over the world to visit my island paradise...I am truly a rich man."

For me the definition of being rich is to have a big business and to have a lot of money..I was a supervisor of selling a product like roof pannel,parquet and säilytyslaatikko also known as storage box..But after that my the company got collapse and i did not get rich..sad but true
