I usually stop and and close my eyes for awhile. Give myself a little pause and gain back all the positive vibes. I sometimes reflect so as to release what has been bothering me. Just a silent moment is all I will need to start again.

I always need someone to talk to, whether it be friends or family because it helps to know that someone's ready to back you up and keep you sane.

If I feel down, I put my mind on something else- simple If I feel de-motivated I ask the reason why and take a break when it's healthy to do so |

It's really a hard feeling when you are down. When I feel this, I tried to reach my closest friend and share to them what I really feel, and through them I feel ease.

This is a great question. I have anchors that I use for peak state (check out Tony Robbins or NLP) and I change my physiology and act as if I am 'in the zone'. I have the reasons I am doing this written down in a word file to help motivation. Finally very occasionally even when I have done all this I still won't feel up for it so i ask myself is there resistance within me. Alot of the time you create your own resistance and the more you try and fight something the stronger it gets. Better to lower your expectations in this situation just get started, steady away and build up some momentum. Finally if you can't work then this is your body telling you something - you need a break. Have the day off! |

Just last night I went back to Susan Boyle's "Britain's Got Talent" Audition on YouTube and felt a sense of wonder as the audience first rolled their eyes at her, then gave her a standing ovation at the end of her song. She broke chart history yesterday selling 700,000 copies of her CD in 1 week. Now true, we don't all have Susan's voice, but we can all relate to having an unfilled dream, like she did. So keep plugging away. Success might come in the most unlikely form. |

Listening music. When I`m down, my ipod and long walk are sure shot. Also, even if I`m feeling good, this method is proven to take me into creative mood very fast. It works for me. |

When I get down I will just go outside and take a short walk or I will go online and find something encouraging and uplifting. Oliver Allen |

I just wait it out. The next day is bound to be better, so I just try and relax, watch movies or do something that requires minimal thinking.

When I feel down, I will usually change my surroundings. Example could be to arrange to meet friends that can encourage me, or ones that I can share a good laugh with. Even going to another environment (maybe by the sea) and draw inspiration from it. Sometimes I just totally cut off from work and focus on living my life. Then after that, I will find that I am re-energized again, motivated to taking the next actions and ready to get stuck in... Hope it helps.. |

I take a minute to cool down, true. As soon as I recognize the ennui. I use it as my trigger. Often, then, it's as simple as this (I know it's gimmicky, but so is low motivation; it's just a "thing," right?): Read quotes by Winston Churchill, Mark Twain, George Carlin and Dr. Wayne Dyer. Put a smile behind those thoughts that will motivate your moment! |

Helping others helps a lot. Listening to positive music. Playing music, but that is because that is a passion of mine. Going to the gym and working out. I'm big into fitness. And hanging out with positive friends. |

If its something that has to be done right then, then I push myself through it. Otherwise I take a step back and chill out for the time being.

If you're feeling down, a good thing to do is to look at all the things that you're grateful for. For instance you can be grateful for how much you've learned in internet marketing over the last year. You can see how much more effective you are at growing your online business now than you were 3, 6 or 9 months ago. The more things you can feel grateful for, the more you can get out of that funk. | |

I watch fun comedies! Also, I love to sing some of my favorite jingles. These two things really help to uplift my spirit.

Yeah, I agree with Peter. I love cracking up to funny YouTube videos. I'd offer suggestions, but most are family friendly. Haha. |

I spend time with the kids, play with the dog, or go to the mall and walk around (change of scenery). Exercise also helps.

Talk to my bf and my best friend.. half complaining and half wanting to be cheered up again of course. Or I watch a movie, play video games, read.. write in my business "journal" (it's full of negativity lol since I mostly write in it when I'm down). Basically when I'm down I want to do anything but work. It's usually too depressing. |

I think it depends on "how" you feel down. Sometimes it's ok to let it go, not force yourself to do anything, knowing that your energy and mood will pick up later. We all have to give it (the negatives) out of ourselves sometimes (as long as it doesn't happen all the time). Nobody is always at 100%. If the reason for feeling down is something specific, it's a good time to think through the situation, and see what you can do. In this case, you might not want to just let it go, but figure out what the best thing is to do, and do it. My opinion. |

If we do something for someone it makes us feel good and helps us in return. It's like on this forum here, giving away free stuff and advice. It helps everyone even the person giving advice. Look how much people reached out and helped you. Personally I love talking to my daughter, she always seems to put things into perspective in such a simple way. I love the stuff that children say. It's like what they're saying is an obvious thing to do. I remember feeling down and I was sitting quietly and my daughter asked me why I was so quiet and I just said I had a headache and she said, "I know what, if you help me to make a daisy chain in the garden you'll feel better." We made a daisy chain together and she said, "better now?" And oddly enough, I really was feeling better. I think it's easy to get wrapped and make things complicated and thinking that the ONLY thing in our life is this business, but let's get real. This business might be brilliant but not as brilliant as the people in our lives that make us happy. |

Whenever i feel down, i think of how Big my God is, meditate on His word in Philipians 4: 13 that says," I can do all things through He who strengthens me". Relying on the strength of God makes me see every challenges as a stepping stone to next achievement.

Spend time on my own, think of my daughter and how I need to be a good example to her, remind myself there are millions of people who are far worse off than myself. Focus on the problem work out a solution.
